Wizz Air are to launch flights from the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca to Paris (Beauvais). They will fly three times per week on this route from 18 December 2008.

New Ryanair routes to Paris and Agadir

Ryanair will launch new routes from their East Midlands and Liverpool bases to Paris (Beauvais) this winter. They will also begin flying from London (Stansted) to Agadir, all from the end of October 2008.

New Croatian link from Newcastle

easyJet have put two new routes on sale from 12 December 2008. These include flights from London (Gatwick) to Istanbul (Sabiha) and from Lyon to Bastia.

Wizz Air to launch new Italian routes

Wizz Air have put three new routes on sale from Italy. These include flights from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Krakow and Warsaw and from Rome (Fiumicino) to Gdansk. They are due to begin flying on these routes from the end of October 2008.

Centralwings to give up operating scheduled flights

centralwings, the low-cost arm of Polish flag carrier LOT, will give up operating scheduled flights at the end of September 2008. With the current economic climate, they have opted to focus on charter operations going into the winter season. All Centralwings scheduled flights after the end of September have been cancelled. Jet2 to fly Blackpool to Menorca

New Air Berlin routes to Preveza
