Ryanair to open Seville base
Ryanair are due to make Seville their 44th base in Europe this winter. They have announced 10 new routes from Seville including flights to Eindhoven, Bari, Venice (Treviso), Zagreb, Palma, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela, Paris (Orly) and Marseille.

Germanwings to launch new base at Hanover
Germanwings will this summer open a new base at Hanover and launch 15 new routes. From May 2010 they will begin flights to Stuttgart, Bastia, Palma, Vienna, Barcelona, Heraklion, Moscow (Vnukovo), Zadar, Budapest, London (Stansted), Rome (Fiumicino), Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Milan (Malpensa) and Split.
They are expected to create around 70 new flights per week which will be operated by three aircraft.

New BelleAir route from Zagreb to Tirana
Belle Air will begin flying a new route between their Tirana base and the Croatian capital, Zagreb, this winter. They are due to fly three times per week on this route from the end of October 2008.

Germanwings winter 2007 schedule on sale
Germanwings have put parts of their winter 2007 flight schedule on sale. This includes, amongst others, new routes from Stuttgart to Belgrade and Kavala, and from Dortmund to Split, Zagreb and Munich.

Wizz Air to fly from London to Zagreb
Wizz Air will launch direct flights between London (Luton) and Zagreb from 26 March 2006. This will make Wizz Air the first budget airline to fly between the UK and Croatia.
Low-cost flights to Croatia have been discussed for a long time, and it is considered a potential goldmine for future route development.

Germanwings adds Stuttgart to Palma
Germanwings are continuing their expansion at their 2nd based at Stuttgart. They will begin flying from Stuttgart to Palma (Mallorca) in November 2004.
This new route is in addition to the 7 new destinations recently announced from Stuttgart, which included Madrid, London (Stansted), Warsaw, Zagreb, Krakow, Hamburg and Dresden, which also commence at the same time.

Germanwings expands at Stuttgart
Germanwings have announced that they will be increasing the number of flights from their hub in Stuttgart.
From 31 October 2004 they will begin flying new routes to Hamburg, Dresden, Krakow, Warsaw, Zagreb and London (Stansted). In addition, they will restore their link between Stuttgart and Madrid.
Tickets will go on sale this afternoon (Friday 06 August) at 3pm CET.

Germanwings add new destinations
germanwings will add 3 new routes this summer, all originating from Cologne-Bonn. They include Krakow and Zagreb (beginning 26 June 2004), and also Split, beginning 26 July 2004.
