Massive Ryanair expansion from Alghero, Cagliari and Bologna
Ryanair have announced the acquisition of three new aircraft, which they will base at Alghero and Cagliari, to become their 6th and 7th Italian base airports. At the end of March 2009 they will launch new routes including:
- Alghero to Brussels (Charleroi), Bologna (Forli), Genoa, Oslo (Torp), Paris (Beauvais) and Venice (Treviso).
- Cagliari to Bologna (Forli), Brussels (Charleroi), Cuneo, Edinburgh, Manchester, Genoa, Karlsruhe-Baden, Marseille, Rome (Ciampino), Seville, Trieste, Oslo (Torp), Verona (Brescia) and Weeze.
They will also launch new routes from their Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) base in December. These will include Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Oslo (Torp), Paris (Beauvais) and Weeze.

Massive Ryanair expansion at Girona
Ryanair will add 17 new routes from their Girona base in February and March 2007. These new routes include flights to the Canary Islands and North Africa, with flights to Tenerife (North), Fuerteventura and Marrakech. They will also add flights to other European cities, including Bristol, Newcastle and Durham Tees Valley in the UK, Oporto and Faro in Portugal, Trapani, Bologna (Forli), Pescara and Verona (Brescia) in Italy, Gothenburg (Saeve) and Malmo in Sweden, Aarhus (Denmark), Oslo (Torp) (Norway) and Altenburg (Germany). Flights are on sale now.

Blue Air moves route to Arad
Blue Air will move their route to Verona (Brescia), scheduled to operate from Timisoara, to Arad instead. This will be the first low-cost route to operate from Arad.

Blue Air to fly to Verona
From 11 February, Blue Air will launch a new route from Bucharest (Baneasa) and Timisoara to Verona (Brescia). They will fly 3 times per week on these routes.

Ryanair expands in Italy
Ryanair have just announced that they will launch 3 new domestic routes from Rome (Ciampino) on 28 April 2005. These will include Venice (Treviso), Alghero (Sardinia) and Verona (Brescia). This is in addition to the route they announced to Dublin last week.
Tickets on these new routes are due to go on sale tomorrow, 1 February.
