Wizz Air flights from London to Varna
Wizz Air have put on sale a new route from their London (Luton) base to Varna in Bulgaria. They will operate this route weekly for summer, beginning from 22 June 2009.

New Warsaw – Varna route with Norwegian
Norwegian Air Shuttle are due to begin flying a new route from their Warsaw base to Varna. They will fly twice per week on this route from 22 June 2009.

Six new Wizz Air routes from Budapest
Wizz Air continue their expansion at Budapest with the introduction of six summer routes. They will add summer flights from Budapest to Bourgas, Corfu, Heraklion, Rhodos, Varna and Palma. All routes will begin operating in early June 2009.

Warsaw and Poznan expansion for Centralwings
centralwings have put new routes on sale from their Warsaw and Poznan bases. This includes flights from Warsaw to Catania, Faro, Heraklion, Rhodos, Thessaloniki and Varna, and from Poznan to Palma and Rhodos. These flights will operate during the summer 08 season, and are available to book now at www.centralwings.com.

Wizz Air to expand operation at Budapest
Wizz Air have put eight new routes on sale from Budapest for the summer 2008 season. The flights, which begin during June and July, will include routes to Bourgas, Varna, Corfu, Rhodos, Heraklion, Oslo (Torp), Palma and Venice (Treviso). At the same time, they will also add a new route from Gdansk to Girona.

New summer routes for Sterling
Sterling have put ten new routes on sale for the summer 2008 season. These include the following:
- Billund to Olbia and Prague
- Copenhagen to Naples, Olbia, Trieste, Varna and Venice (Marco Polo)
- Gothenburg (Landvetter) to Bourgas
- Stockholm (Arlanda) to Bourgas and Naples

New flights from Prague with SkyEurope
Sky Europe have put three new routes on sale from their Prague base. These include flights from Prague to Malaga (beginning 25 May 2008), and also flights to Zadar (from 6 June) and Varna (from 12 June). Tickets are available at www.skyeurope.com.

Wizz Air to expand Bulgarian operation
Wizz Air will expand their base at Sofia next year, with the announcement that they will launch new routes in July 2008, and increase frequencies on existing routes. From 12 July they will launch new routes from Sofia to Varna, Milan (Orio al Serio), Valencia, Barcelona and Izmir.

Evolavia to begin flights to Varna
Evolavia will begin flights from their Ancona base to the Bulgarian Black Sea resort town of Varna. The weekly flights will begin on 26 July 2007. They will also launch new routes from Ancona to Girona and Catania at the beginning of June.

Summer exansions for Centralwings at Warsaw
centralwings will expand the number of routes that they fly from their Warsaw base for the summer 2007 season. Throughout the next few months they will begin flying from Warsaw to Chania, Malta, Catania, Palermo, Thessaloniki, Faro, Varna, Heraklion and Rhodos. They will also launch flights from Katowice to Rhodos and from Krakow to Lisbon.

Wizz Air to launch flights to Greece and Bulgaria
Wizz Air, the low-cost airline based in Central Europe, will launch flights from their Budapest base to Thessaloniki (Greece) and Varna (Bulgaria). Flights will begin on 12 and 10 June 2007 respectively.

Norwegian to fly to Bulgaria
Norwegian Air Shuttle will expand their network to cover Bulgaria next year. On 14 April 2007 they will begin flights from their Oslo (International) base to Varna and Bourgas. Tickets can already be booked at www.norwegian.no.

Germanwings summer 2007 schedule on sale
Germanwings have put flights on sale until the end of October 2007. This includes a number of new routes from their Stuttgart, Cologne-Bonn, Berlin (Schoenefeld) and Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel) bases. Flights begin from the end of March.
From Cologne-Bonn they will begin flying to Alghero (Sardinia), Zadar (Croatia), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bucharest (Baneasa) (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Bourgas (Bulgaria), Varna (Bulgaria) and Kavala. From Stuttgart they will begin flying to Bastia (Corsica), from Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel) to Palma and from Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Bourgas (Bulgaria), Verona (Villafranca) (Bulgaria) and Balaton (Hungary).

SmartWings flies to Bulgaria
The Czech low-cost airline, SmartWings, will begin flights from their Prague base to Bulgaria this summer. From June 2006 they will fly to Bourgas and Varna. They will also add routes to Malaga and Thessaloniki for the summer.

SkyEurope expands at Budapest
SkyEurope have put 4 new routes on sale for 2006 from Budapest. In mid-April they will launch 2 new Italian routes from Budapest, including Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) and Naples.
They will also launch 2 new routes to Bulgaria for the summer season, including Bourgas and Varna. This will make SkyEurope the first low-cost airline to fly to Varna.
