MyAir to fly to Foggia
Italian low-cost airline MyAir have announced that they will begin flying from Foggia, a city in the Puglia region of Italy. In doing so, they become the first low-cost airline to fly to Foggia. From October 2008 they will begin flying from Foggia to Milan (Malpensa), Palermo, Turin and Rome (Fiumicino).

MyAir to operate Rome to Turin flights
Italian budget airline MyAir is due to begin flying from their Rome (Fiumicino) base to Turin. They will begin operating flights on this route from 30 March 2008. They will also begin flying from Geneva to Brindisi from 04 June.

New Olbia flights for summer with Meridiana
Italian budget airline Meridiana will launch four new routes to Olbia this summer. From June 2008, they will fly to Olbia from Naples, Turin, Trieste and Venice (Marco Polo). Flights can be booked now at www.meridiana.it.

Ryanair to fly from Belfast City
Ryanair have put a number of new routes on sale, including flights from Belfast (City). From the end of October 2007, they will begin flying to Belfast (City) from East Midlands, Liverpool and Glasgow (Prestwick).
They have also put flights on sale from Bristol to Turin, from East Midlands to Grenoble, Poznan, Szczecin and Tenerife (Sur), from Liverpool to Budapest, Bydgoszcz, Fuerteventura, Grenoble, Lodz, Szczecin and Tenerife (Sur), and from Glasgow (Prestwick) to Grenoble, Budapest and Kaunas.

Two new Ryanair routes to Turin
Ryanair will launch two new routes to Turin from their bases at Brussels (Charleroi) and Dublin. Flights will commence from 19 December 2006.

New SkyEurope routes including Bucharest and Turin
Sky Europe will launch a new route between their Prague base and Turin, flying twice per week from 26 December 2006. They will also begin flying to Bucharest (Baneasa) from Rome (Fiumicino), beginning 29 December. From 01 February 2007, Sky Europe will also begin flying to Bucharest (Baneasa) from their Budapest base.
These new Romanian routes from Sky Europe may be as a consequence of the recent announcement by Wizz Air to expand into Romania.

Condor added to flycheapo database
Following the announcement that Condor would launch regular and low-cost style flights from Munich, we have added these flights to the route database.
Condor currently fly from Munich to Barcelona, and in April and May will launch flights to Brussels (International), Prague, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Pisa, Turin, Venice (Marco Polo), and Istanbul (Sabiha). These are priced as single tickets.

SkyEurope expands Krakow base
SkyEurope will expand their Krakow base, where they currently operate 7 routes.
They will add a further 8 routes in 2006 (and reopen one to Barcelona) from March to June, including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Brussels, Bologna, Stockholm (Arlanda), Naples, Turin and Athens.

Flynordic to connect Stockholm and Turin
Flynordic will start flying a new weekly route from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Turin on 24 December 2005.

easyJet announces 6 more new routes
Flights this winter are already hotting up, despite many remarks that the industry will suffer a blow during the off-peak season. Showing a serious commitment to expansion, easyJet have just announced a further 6 new European routes, including destinations which are completely new to them.
The new routes include London (Luton) and Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Bratislava, London (Luton) to Turin, London (Stansted) to Almeria and Valencia and Bristol to Madrid.

New Norwegian routes from Oslo
Norwegian have announced that they will begin flying 2 new routes on 15 January 2005 from Oslo to Turin and Salzburg. Flights are on sale now.

EUjet plans British budget launch for September 04
EUjet have announced, after a much anticipated wait, that they will begin a budget operation primarily based at Kent (Manston), an airport the owners would like to see dubbed as ‘London-Manston’. They will also have a 2nd hub at Shannon in Ireland.
From Manston, EUjet are scheduled to fly to a range of destinations in Europe, flights beginning in September include: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, Faro, Girona, Jersey, Murcia, Nice and Prague.
Further routes are due to begin from Manston in October, including: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Madrid, Malaga, Manchester, Milan (Malpensa) and Palma (Mallorca). Their final batch of new routes (still from Manston!) are scheduled to take-off in December, including: Geneva, Salzburg, Toulouse, Turin and Zurich.
Their routes from Shannon are due to begin from September (again over a period of months), to Dublin, Geneva, Malaga and Murcia.
