Three new Ryanair routes on sale for this winter
Ryanair have put three new routes on sale for this winter 09/10 season. From the end of November they will begin flying from Paris (Beauvais) to Bratislava, from Pisa to Las Palmas and from Trapani to Madrid.

New Ryanair bases at Bari and Brindisi
Ryanair announced this week that they would open two new bases at Bari and Brindisi from next year. They will begin operating the following routes from Jan/Feb 2010:
- Bari to Brussels (Charleroi), Cagliari, Genoa, Karlsruhe-Baden, Paris (Beauvais), Trapani, Valencia, Venice (Treviso) and Weeze.
- Brindisi to Eindhoven, Girona, Trapani and Venice (Treviso).

New Ryanair route between Malta and Trapani
Ryanair will launch a new route between Malta and Trapani next year. They will begin flying on this route from 05 February 2009.

Massive additions to Ryanair winter flight schedule
Although Ryanair have made it known that they intend to ground some of their fleet this winter due to the high cost of oil, they have just announced details of 40 new routes that they will begin flying this winter. The new routes begin from the end of October 2008, and include:
- Bremen to Fuerteventura, Gothenburg (Saeve), Marrakech and Tenerife (Sur)
- Bournemouth to Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Orly)
- Bristol to Gdansk, Marrakech and Szczecin
- Brussels (Charleroi) to Fez, Gdansk, Manchester, Marrakech, Riga, Tangier and Wroclaw
- Frankfurt (Hahn) to Birmingham, Klagenfurt and Prague
- Glasgow (Prestwick) to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife (Sur)
- London (Luton) to Beziers, Derry, Kaunas, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Trapani
- Madrid to London (Stansted) and Milan (Orio al Serio)
- Marseille to Agadir, Brest, Lille, Nador and Tangier
- Milan (Orio al Serio) to Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bournemouth, Brindisi, Fez, Ibiza and Madrid

Ryanair to fly French and German domestic routes
Ryanair have put their first domestic routes in France and Germany on sale. These include flights from Marseille to Paris (Beauvais), and from Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Frankfurt (Hahn), which will begin operation in May. They will also begin new flights from East Midlands to Malaga and Stockholm (Skavsta) to Rostock-Laage (from 04 June), Shannon to Berlin (Schoenefeld) (from 30 May), Milan (Orio al Serio) to Trapani (from 02 July), and Alghero to Rome (Ciampino) (from 01 August).

Birmingham to become 25th base for Ryanair
Ryanair will expand their capacity at Birmingham from mid-June 2008, making it their 25th base. During this time of expansion they will add flights to Biarritz, Billund, Bologna (Forli), Bratislava, Bydgoszcz, Dinard, Gdansk, Olbia, Oporto, Oslo (Torp), Perpignan, Poitiers, Reus, Rzeszow, Stockholm (Skavsta), Trapani and Trieste.

13 new Ryanair routes from Stockholm
Ryanair will increase capacity at their Stockholm (Skavsta) base this October. They will begin flights from Stockholm (Skavsta) to Alicante, Basel, Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bratislava, Eindhoven, Karlsruhe-Baden, Liverpool, Malta, Pisa, Oporto, Salzburg (from December 2007), Trapani and Valencia.

Ryanair launches base at Weeze
Ryanair have announced eight new routes from Weeze (or Dusseldorf Weeze as they like to call it), which they will launch this October. These new routes include flights to Trapani, Milan (Orio al Serio), Valencia, Seville, Malaga, Fuerteventura and Marrakech.
They will also launch flights (four times per week) from Weeze to the Swedish city of Vaxjo. Ryanair will become the first low-cost airline to fly to Vaxjo, and it is anticipated that they may launch further routes to Vaxjo over the coming months.

7 new Ryanair routes from Bremen
Ryanair have announced that they will add seven new routes from their Bremen base. From 05 June 2007 they will begin flying from Bremen to Stockholm (Skavsta). From 25 September they will also add flights to Trapani, Alghero, Milan (Orio al Serio), Bratislava, Paris (Beauvais) and Malta.

Meridiana begins flights to Trapani
Meridiana, the low-cost airline based in Italy, will begin flights to Trapani from 01 April 2007. They will begin flying from both Palermo and Pantelleria. Flights can be booked now at www.meridiana.it.

Massive Ryanair expansion at Girona
Ryanair will add 17 new routes from their Girona base in February and March 2007. These new routes include flights to the Canary Islands and North Africa, with flights to Tenerife (North), Fuerteventura and Marrakech. They will also add flights to other European cities, including Bristol, Newcastle and Durham Tees Valley in the UK, Oporto and Faro in Portugal, Trapani, Bologna (Forli), Pescara and Verona (Brescia) in Italy, Gothenburg (Saeve) and Malmo in Sweden, Aarhus (Denmark), Oslo (Torp) (Norway) and Altenburg (Germany). Flights are on sale now.

Ryanair announces 5 new routes
Ryanair continue their seemingly eternal route expansion with 5 new routes. In December 2006 they will launch a new route between Glasgow (Prestwick) and Derry. Over the coming months they will also add new routes from Dublin (as previously announced) to Fuerteventura, Tenerife (North), Alghero and Trapani.

Ryanair adds 6 new routes from Pisa
Ryanair will launch 6 routes from their Pisa base from 14 September 2006. They will begin flying daily to Valencia and Trapani, 4 times per week to Doncaster and Karlsruhe-Baden and 3 times per week to Friedrichshafen and Oslo (Torp).

Evolavia moves from Trapani
From 01 October, Evolavia will operate their services from Paris (Charles de Gaulles) and Ancona to Palermo instead of Trapani.
