Wizz Air to add flights to Tirgu Mures

From 15 May 2008, Wizz Air will begin flights to the Transylvanian city of Tirgu Mures. They will fly to Tirgu Mures three times per week from their Budapest base.

Wizz Air to fly to Cluj-Napoca

Wizz Air have announced that they will cease operating flights to Tirgu Mures in Transylvania, and will move these flights to Cluj-Napoca. On 13 November 2007, they will move flights to Barcelona, London (Luton), Budapest and Rome (Fiumicino). On 28 February 2008 they will launch a new route from Dortmund to Cluj-Napoca, replacing the previously announced new route to Tirgu Mures.

Wizz to move flights to Rome (Fiumicino)

Wizz Air will move their flights from Budapest, Tirgu Mures and Sofia from Rome (Ciampino) to Rome (Fiumicino) on 28 October 2007. This is due to new traffic limitations placed upon Rome (Ciampino) airport.

Wizz Air to fly from Dortmund to Transylvania

Wizz Air will begin flying from their Dortmund base to Tirgu Mures in Transylvania, Romania. They will begin flying three times per week on this route from 25 February 2008.

Wizz Air to fly between Luton and Tirgu Mures

Wizz Air will begin flying between London (Luton) and the Romanian city of Tirgu Mures this winter. Flights will begin on 30 October 2007.

Wizz Air expands into Romania

Central European low-cost airline Wizz Air will continue to expand in January 2007, when they will launch an extensive network of flights to Romania.

From 16 January, they will launch 5 new routes from Bucharest (Baneasa) to London (Luton), Budapest, Barcelona, Dortmund and Rome (Ciampino). They will add 2 new routes from Tirgu Mures to Barcelona and Rome (Ciampino), and they will also begin flying between Arad and Milan (Orio al Serio).

Wizz Air will begin flying 3 times per week from their Budapest base to the Romanian city of Tirgu Mures. This will be the first low-cost route to Tirgu Mures.
