Ryanair to open Seville base
Ryanair are due to make Seville their 44th base in Europe this winter. They have announced 10 new routes from Seville including flights to Eindhoven, Bari, Venice (Treviso), Zagreb, Palma, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela, Paris (Orly) and Marseille.

Three new Ryanair routes from Alicante
Ryanair have put three new routes on sale from Alicante beginning in July 2009. They are set to begin flights from Alicante to Aarhus, Santiago de Compostela and Hamburg (Luebeck).

New Ryanair routes from Madrid
Ryanair have put four new Spanish domestic routes on sale from Madrid. These include flights to Santiago de Compostela, Alicante, Palma and Valencia, all of which begin on 18 November 2008.

Ryanair to make base at Reus
Ryanair will make the Reus their 26th European base. They have put four new routes on sale, beginning October 2008, from Reus to Santander, Santiago de Compostela, Seville and Paris (Beauvais).

Valencia and Alicante to become Ryanair bases
Ryanair will open their 21st and 22nd bases this year at Alicante and Valencia airports, in Spain. They will add new routes from Alicante during November and December 2007, including flights to Karlsruhe-Baden, Basel, Billund, Bournemouth, Brussels (Charleroi), Doncaster, East Midlands, Gothenburg (Saeve), Maastricht, Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Beauvais).
They will add new routes from Valencia in October, to make this their 22nd base. The new routes include flights to Karlsruhe-Baden, Basel, Billund, Bologna (Forli), Eindhoven, Liverpool, Malta, Maastricht, Paris (Beauvais), Oporto and Santiago de Compostela.

Malaga to Santiago link with Vueling
Vueling will begin flying between Malaga and Santiago de Compostela. They will fly three times per week on this route from 24 May 2007. Flights can be booked at www.vueling.com.

Clickair arrives in Galicia
Spanish low-cost airline clickair will expand their operation to include flights to the Galicia region of Spain. From 01 April 2007 they will begin flying from their Barcelona base to La Coruna, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo. They will become the first low-cost airline to fly to Vigo.

Ryanair expansion at Nottingham East Midlands
From 12 February 2007, Ryanair will expand their operation from East Midlands. During a two week period they will launch 10 new routes. They will begin flying to Inverness, Knock, Valencia, Santiago de Compostela, Granada, Alghero, Milan (Orio al Serio), Pisa, Krakow and Bratislava.

New flights to Santiago de Compostela with Vueling
Spanish low-cost airline Vueling will launch 2 new routes to Santiago de Compostela next month. From 14 September 2006 they will begin flying daily between Santiago de Compostela and Madrid, and from 18 September they will begin flying between Santiago de Compostela and Paris (Charles de Gaulle). Ryanair announces major expansion at Liverpool
Liverpool and nearby Manchester continue to grow as hubs for low-cost flying. Today, Ryanair has announced 11 new routes for Liverpool.
The new routes, which span Europe, will begin from the beginning of October 2006.
They include Aberdeen and Inverness in the UK, the Spanish cities of Santander and Santiago de Compostela, expansion into Poland with flights to Wroclaw, Poznan and Krakow. They will begin flying to the Italian cities of Alghero (Sardinia) and Ancona, and also to Kaunas in Lithuania and Tampere in Finland.

Vueling adds route to Santiago
Vueling will begin flying from their Barcelona base to Santiago de Compostela from 14 April 2006. They will fly daily on this new route, which is already on sale at www.vueling.com.

Air Berlin launches flights to Santiago de Compostela
Following the arrival of Ryanair at Santiago de Compostela, and the recent news of their expansion there – we have learnt that Air Berlin will also begin flying to Santiago de Compostela from 01 November.
They will operate a daily route from their base at Palma (Mallorca); this will become their 12th route from that hub.

Ryanair launches winter timetable
Ryanair have put their entire winter 2005/06 timetable on sale, this covers flights up until 26 March 2006.
This includes reinstating a route between London (Stansted) and Esbjerg, and the inclusion of routes to Santiago De Compostela from Frankfurt (Hahn) and Rome (Ciampino).

Ryanair announce route to Santiago De Compostela
Ryanair have today announced that they will begin flying daily to Santiago De Compostela from London (Stansted) on 11 April 2005.
This comes at a time when easyJet are believed to be likely to announce details of a new route from London (Luton) to the nearby airport of La Coruna, beginning at the end of March.
