Low-cost flights begin to Heringsdorf – the German seaside

Air Berlin will begin flying to to the German seaside resort of Heringsdorf this summer from four airports across Germany. From 01 May 2010 they will fly from Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Nuremberg and Stuttgart to Heringsdorf. Flights are on sale now at www.airberlin.com.

Summer Air Berlin flights to Sylt

At the end of March Air Berlin will launch two new routes to Westerland for the summer season. They will operate weekly flights to Westerland from both Muenster and Nuremberg. Both routes are on sale now at www.airberlin.com.

A couple of new Air Berlin routes from Nuremberg

Air Berlin have put two new summer routes on sale from their Nuremberg base to Nice and Venice (Marco Polo). Both routes are on sale now at www.airberlin.com.

Croatian routes from Nuremburg

Air Berlin have put two new routes on sale from their Nuremberg base to destinations in Croatia. From 31 May 2009 they will operate weekly flights from Nuremberg to both Split and Rijeka. The new flights are available to book now at www.airberlin.com.

Ponta Delgada flights with Air Berlin

German low-cost airline Air Berlin will fly from their Nuremberg base this winter to Portugal’s furthermost European outpost, Ponta Delgada, in the Azores. They will fly weekly on this route from 03 November 2008.

New Air Berlin routes from November

Air Berlin have announced four new routes which will launch from November 2008. These include Nuremberg to Milan (Malpensa) and Zurich, as well as from Saarbruecken to Zurich and Stuttgart to Lamezia-Terme. These new routes are available to book now at www.airberlin.com.

New Air Berlin route from Nuremberg to Moscow

Air Berlin will fly from their Nuremberg base to Moscow (Domodedovo) from 22 December 2006. They will fly three times per week during the winter season. Flights can be booked now at www.airberlin.com.

centralwings – a new low cost carrier for Europe!

While the bankruptcy of Air Polonia is still unclear, today we learn that a new low-cost carrier – centralwings – will launch next year, backed by Polish state airline LOT.

centralwings will use 3 bases in Poland, Warsaw, Krakow and Katowice. They will commence flights to London (Gatwick) from Warsaw and Krakow on 01 February 2005.

They will then begin the roll-out of their summer timetable during March – May. This will include routes between Warsaw and Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi), Lisbon, Malta, Girona, Prague, Nuremberg, Catania, from Krakow to Rome (Ciampino) and from Katowice to Cologne-Bonn and Hanover.
