New summer 2008 routes for Jet2
Jet2 have put four new routes on sale for the 2009 summer season. This includes flights from their Leeds Bradford base to Dubrovnik (from 27 April 2009) and Larnaca (from 17 May). They will also launch flights from Newcastle to Ibiza on 17 May, and from Manchester to Olbia on 27 April. These flights can be booked now at www.jet2.com.

Birmingham to Larnaca with Monarch Scheduled
New for Summer 2009 will be a route from Birmingham to Larnaca with Monarch Scheduled. They are scheduled to fly twice per week on this route from 29 March 2009.

Norwegian to fly new routes to Greece and Cyprus
Norwegian Air Shuttle will launch routes for summer from their Oslo (International) base to Greece and Cyprus. From 16 June 2008 they will fly to Chania (Crete), and from July they will fly to Larnaca.

New SkyEurope routes from Prague
Sky Europe are due to begin flights from their Prague base to Larnaca (Cyprus) and Bari (Italy). Flights will begin from 30 October 2008, and can be booked now at www.skyeurope.com.

Blue Air to launch Romania to Cyprus flights
Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air will launch flights from their Bucharest (Baneasa) base to Larnaca, Cyprus. They will fly three times per week on this route from 30 March 2008.

New Gatwick to Larnaca and Menorca routes
Monarch Scheduled will launch new flights from their London (Gatwick) base to Larnaca and Mahon this summer. They will begin flying on these routes from 19 March 2008.

Manchester to Cyprus link with Monarch
Monarch Scheduled will launch a new route from Manchester to Larnaca (Cyprus) next summer. They will fly up to five times per week on this route during the summer season, and flights will begin on 18 May 2008.

FlyGlobespan to fly to Cyprus
FlyGlobespan will add another flight from London (Stansted) when they begin flying to Larnaca (Cyprus) for the summer season. They will begin flying twice per week from 01 April, increasing to six times per week later in the season.

Luton to Cyprus with Monarch Scheduled
Monarch Scheduled will begin flights from their London (Luton) base to Larnaca (Cyprus) from 27 March 2007. They will fly four times per week on this new route.

SkyEurope to open base at Vienna
Despite only being a short distance from their Bratislava base, Central European low-cost airline Sky Europe will open a base at Vienna from 25 March 2007. Traditionally, Vienna has been ignored by many low-cost airlines due to the high landing fees that airlines must pay to fly there.
From March 2007, Sky Europe will fly from Vienna to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Paris (Orly), Nice, Venice (Treviso), Florence, Rimini, Bucharest (Baneasa), Sofia, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larnaca, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Split.

New Smart Wings routes for summer
Czech low-cost airline, SmartWings, have announced 4 new routes for the upcoming summer season (beginning May 2005). The new routes are from their base in Prague to Larnaca (SmartWings will become the first low-cost carrier to fly here), Heraklion, Thessaloniki and Palma (Mallorca).
