Wizz Air to move from Borispol to Zhuliani in Kiev

Wizz Air will move their flights to Kiev from Kiev (Borispol) to Kiev (Zhuliani) as of 27 March 2011. It is not clear why they are making this move, but it is likely related to airport charges.

New Wizz Air route – Kiev to Venice

Wizz Air have just put on sale a new route from Kiev to Venice (Treviso) for the forthcoming winter season. From the end of October 2009 they will operate flights twice per week on this route.

New Wizz Air route from Antalya to Kiev

Wizz Air are due to launch flights between Kiev and Antalya this summer. They will fly twice per week on this route from 11 May 2009.

Wizz Air to launch Oslo – Kiev flights

Wizz Air will begin flying between Kiev and Oslo (Torp) next year. They are due to begin flying twice per week on this route frmo 05 January 2009.

New Wizz Air routes from Budapest and Katowice

Wizz Air have announced that they will add a new aircraft to their Budapest base from the end of March 2009. From this time they will begin flying from Budapest to Barcelona, Madrid, Naples and Oslo (Torp). They have also put a new route on sale from Katowice to Kiev, which is due to begin on 29 December 2008.

London to Ukraine flights with Wizz Air

Wizz Air will launch a new route from their London (Luton) base to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, this winter. They will fly four times per week on this route from mid-December 2008.

New Wizz Air routes from Kiev

Wizz Air will launch two new domestic Ukrainian routes from Kiev from mid-September. They will begin flying from Kiev to Kharkov and Zaporozhye from 15 September 2008.

Wizz Air to open Ukraine base

Central European low-cost airline, Wizz Air, will be the first low-cost airline to open a base in Ukraine, and the first low-cost airline to have a significant presence in the country. From 11 July 2008 they will open a base at Kiev, and will also begin flying a network of domestic routes within Ukraine. They will launch flights from Kiev to Kharkov, Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol and Zaporozhye. They will also launch flights from Simferopol to Lviv and Kharkov.

FlyBaboo to fly to Russia and Ukraine

Swiss low-cost airline Flybaboo are due to begin flying from their Geneva base to destinations in Russia and Ukraine. From 26 May 2008 they will fly four times per week to St. Petersburg and three times per week to Kiev.

On Air – low-cost airline connections from Pescara

We have added details of On Air, a low-cost airline based at Pescara in Italy, which aims to increase the level of tourism in the Abruzzo region. They either currently or are scheduled to fly to Pescara from a number of cities across Europe, including Lviv, Kiev, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Brussels (Charleroi), Munich, Split, Bucharest (Baneasa) and Heraklion.

AlpiEagles to fly to Kiev

Italian low-cost airline AlpiEagles will begin flights to Kiev this summer. They will operate a summer service from their Venice (Marco Polo) base beginning on 01 August 2007. This will make them the first low-cost airline to fly to the capital of Ukraine. Later this month they will also launch flights to the Moldovan capital Kishinev.
