Nine new Ryanair routes from Birmingham
In January 2008, Ryanair announced that they were making Birmingham their 25th regional base. They have just announced an additional nine new routes from Birmingham which will launch in November 2008. These include flights to Alicante, Fuerteventura, Palma, Murcia, Derry, Katowice, Kaunas, Krakow and Prague.

Massive additions to Ryanair winter flight schedule
Although Ryanair have made it known that they intend to ground some of their fleet this winter due to the high cost of oil, they have just announced details of 40 new routes that they will begin flying this winter. The new routes begin from the end of October 2008, and include:
- Bremen to Fuerteventura, Gothenburg (Saeve), Marrakech and Tenerife (Sur)
- Bournemouth to Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Orly)
- Bristol to Gdansk, Marrakech and Szczecin
- Brussels (Charleroi) to Fez, Gdansk, Manchester, Marrakech, Riga, Tangier and Wroclaw
- Frankfurt (Hahn) to Birmingham, Klagenfurt and Prague
- Glasgow (Prestwick) to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife (Sur)
- London (Luton) to Beziers, Derry, Kaunas, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Trapani
- Madrid to London (Stansted) and Milan (Orio al Serio)
- Marseille to Agadir, Brest, Lille, Nador and Tangier
- Milan (Orio al Serio) to Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bournemouth, Brindisi, Fez, Ibiza and Madrid

14 new Ryanair routes this autumn
Ryanair will begin flying 14 new routes for the winter season, beginning on 27 October 2008. These new routes include:
- Bremen to Fuerteventura, Gothenburg (Saeve), Marrakech and Tenerife (Sur)
- Bournemouth to Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Orly)
- Glasgow (Prestwick) to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife (Sur)
- Marseille to Agadir, Brest, Lille, Nador and Tangier

Clickair to begin Canary Island flights
clickair will begin flying to the Canary Islands from their Barcelona base next year. From 23 January 2008, they will begin flying from Barcelona to Arrecife, and from 26 January to Fuerteventura. Flights are available to book on these new routes immediately.

New Ryanair flights from November
Ryanair have made five new routes available which will commence flying in November 2007. These include flights from Frankfurt (Hahn) to Tenerife (Sur) and Fuerteventura, from London (Stansted) to Belfast (City), from London (Luton) to Kerry and from Krakow to Milan (Orio al Serio). These flights are available to book now.

New Canary Island routes for easyJet
From the end of October 2007, easyJet will launch new routes to the Canary Islands. These will include flights from Madrid to Fuerteventura and Arrecife and from Geneva to Las Palmas.

Transavia launch routes for winter
Transavia have put three new routes on sale for the winter season from their Amsterdam base. They will begin flying twice per week to La Palma and Fuerteventura from 01 November, and also to Innsbruck from 20 December. These flights are available to book at www.transavia.com.

Ryanair to fly from Belfast City
Ryanair have put a number of new routes on sale, including flights from Belfast (City). From the end of October 2007, they will begin flying to Belfast (City) from East Midlands, Liverpool and Glasgow (Prestwick).
They have also put flights on sale from Bristol to Turin, from East Midlands to Grenoble, Poznan, Szczecin and Tenerife (Sur), from Liverpool to Budapest, Bydgoszcz, Fuerteventura, Grenoble, Lodz, Szczecin and Tenerife (Sur), and from Glasgow (Prestwick) to Grenoble, Budapest and Kaunas.

Eight new Ryanair routes from Shannon
Ryanair continue to grow at Shannon with the announcement that they will launch eight new routes this November. These will include flights from Shannon to London (Luton), Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Dublin, Tenerife (North), Fuerteventura, Riga and Kaunas.

Ryanair launches base at Weeze
Ryanair have announced eight new routes from Weeze (or Dusseldorf Weeze as they like to call it), which they will launch this October. These new routes include flights to Trapani, Milan (Orio al Serio), Valencia, Seville, Malaga, Fuerteventura and Marrakech.
They will also launch flights (four times per week) from Weeze to the Swedish city of Vaxjo. Ryanair will become the first low-cost airline to fly to Vaxjo, and it is anticipated that they may launch further routes to Vaxjo over the coming months.

Massive Ryanair expansion at Girona
Ryanair will add 17 new routes from their Girona base in February and March 2007. These new routes include flights to the Canary Islands and North Africa, with flights to Tenerife (North), Fuerteventura and Marrakech. They will also add flights to other European cities, including Bristol, Newcastle and Durham Tees Valley in the UK, Oporto and Faro in Portugal, Trapani, Bologna (Forli), Pescara and Verona (Brescia) in Italy, Gothenburg (Saeve) and Malmo in Sweden, Aarhus (Denmark), Oslo (Torp) (Norway) and Altenburg (Germany). Flights are on sale now.

Ryanair announces 5 new routes
Ryanair continue their seemingly eternal route expansion with 5 new routes. In December 2006 they will launch a new route between Glasgow (Prestwick) and Derry. Over the coming months they will also add new routes from Dublin (as previously announced) to Fuerteventura, Tenerife (North), Alghero and Trapani.

Air Berlin make Zurich a new hub
Air Berlin, recently voted “best low-cost airline in the world” in a survey by Skytrax, will launch 5 new routes from Zurich on 04 November 2006. The new routes to Spain and Madeira include Arrecife, Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, Tenerife and Funchal.
Air Berlin will become the 2nd largest operator of routes at Zurich. These new routes can already be booked at www.airberlin.com.

FlyGlobespan winter 2006 flights
FlyGlobespan continue to put their winter 2006/2007 schedule on sale. New routes include Liverpool to Prague and Glasgow (International) to Fuerteventura.
They have also expressed their intention to operate from Aberdeen next summer.

Nexus Airways - a new British low-cost carrier?
Nexus Airways is set to be a new low-cost carrier, set up by 18 year old Daniel Reilly.
Flights are due to begin on 01 November 2005 from Liverpool to Tenerife (Sur), Fuerteventura, Arrecife (Lanzarote) and Las Palmas (Gran Canaria).
Flights will be added to our database in due course, if the operation gets off the ground.
