Gothenburg to Florence with Sterling
Sterling have launched a new route for the summer season from their Gothenburg (Landvetter) base to Florence. Flights on this route are currently available to book until the end of October 2008 at www.sterling.dk.

Meridiana summer flights
Meridiana have a number of new routes launching for the summer season, including some operated by their partner, EuroFly. From June 2008, they will launch flights from Cagliari to Milan (Malpensa), Florence to Olbia, Lamezia-Terme to Verona (Villafranca), Mykonos to Milan (Malpensa) and Verona (Villafranca) and Santorini to Milan (Malpensa). These are available to book now at www.meridiana.it.

Sterling to expand at Malmo
Sterling will launch five new routes from Malmo next year, including flights to London (Gatwick), Alicante, Barcelona, Florence and Nice. These flights will begin from the end of March 2008.
Also from 30 March, Sterling will begin flying from Copenhagen to Murcia and Valencia, and from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Florence, Rome (Fiumicino) and Murcia.

Belle Air - the first Albanian low-cost airline
We have added routes operated by Belle Air, the first Albanian low-cost airline, to our route database. They began flying in November 2006
Belle Air operate flights from a single hub airport - the Albanian capital Tirana. These flights include routes to Athens, Bari, Milan (Orio al Serio), Cuneo, Florence, Bologna (Forli), Genoa, Heraklion, Milan (Malpensa), Parma, Perugia, Pisa, Rome (Fiumicino), Venice (Treviso), Trieste and Verona (Villafranca).

SkyEurope to open base at Vienna
Despite only being a short distance from their Bratislava base, Central European low-cost airline Sky Europe will open a base at Vienna from 25 March 2007. Traditionally, Vienna has been ignored by many low-cost airlines due to the high landing fees that airlines must pay to fly there.
From March 2007, Sky Europe will fly from Vienna to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Paris (Orly), Nice, Venice (Treviso), Florence, Rimini, Bucharest (Baneasa), Sofia, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larnaca, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Split.

Sterling to fly from Gothenburg
Sterling will begin flying from Gothenburg (Landvetter) from 27 March 2007. They will fly between Gothenburg (Landvetter) and Alicante, Malaga, Nice and Florence. Flights can be booked at www.sterlingticket.com.

New Meridiana flights to Prague and Budapest
In December 2006, Meridiana will begin flying from their Florence base to both Prague and Budapest. They will fly twice per week on both of these new routes.
