Massive additions to Ryanair winter flight schedule
Although Ryanair have made it known that they intend to ground some of their fleet this winter due to the high cost of oil, they have just announced details of 40 new routes that they will begin flying this winter. The new routes begin from the end of October 2008, and include:
- Bremen to Fuerteventura, Gothenburg (Saeve), Marrakech and Tenerife (Sur)
- Bournemouth to Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Orly)
- Bristol to Gdansk, Marrakech and Szczecin
- Brussels (Charleroi) to Fez, Gdansk, Manchester, Marrakech, Riga, Tangier and Wroclaw
- Frankfurt (Hahn) to Birmingham, Klagenfurt and Prague
- Glasgow (Prestwick) to Faro, Malaga and Tenerife (Sur)
- London (Luton) to Beziers, Derry, Kaunas, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Trapani
- Madrid to London (Stansted) and Milan (Orio al Serio)
- Marseille to Agadir, Brest, Lille, Nador and Tangier
- Milan (Orio al Serio) to Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bournemouth, Brindisi, Fez, Ibiza and Madrid

Ryanair route reshuffle
Ryanair will cancel a number of routes, in order to launch some new ones later this year. They have put new routes on sale (beginning 28 October 2007) from Marseille to Marrakech and Fez, Dublin to Stockholm (Skavsta), Bremen to Budapest, London (Stansted) to Billund, Girona to Poznan, Brno and Linz and from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Lamezia-Terme.

Ryanair expansion at Girona
Ryanair have announced the launch of eight new routes from their Girona base this winter. These include flights from Girona to Billund, Bratislava, Fez, Marrakech, Graz, Hamburg (Luebeck), Malta and Wroclaw. The launch of these flights will be staggered during October and November.

Four new Ryanair routes from Bournemouth and Frankfurt
Ryanair will begin flying four new routes from their Bournemouth and Frankfurt (Hahn) bases. From 07 May 2007 they will begin flying from Bournemouth to Marseille, and from Frankfurt (Hahn) to Marrakech, Fez and Faro. These new flights are on sale now.

6 new routes for Ryanair from Shannon and London
From 31 October 2006, Ryanair have announced they begin flying 6 new routes. They will fly from their Shannon base to Edinburgh and Bournemouth. They will also launch routes from London (Luton) to Fez and Marrakech and from London (Stansted) to the Croatian city of Pula and a new destination - Deauville in France.

Ryanair launch Marseille base
From 06 November 2006, Ryanair will launch a major operation at Marseille and will make it a hub airport in their network. In addition to flights to Dublin and Glasgow (Prestwick), they will operate new routes to London (Stansted), Oporto, Brussels (Charleroi), Aer Lingus, Karlsruhe-Baden, Oslo (Torp), Rome (Ciampino) and Frankfurt (Hahn).
Following their recent announcement to fly to Marrakech, they will also add 3 routes from Marseille to Morocco, including Marrakech, Fez and Oujda. These flights will be of concern to Moroccan low-cost airline Atlas Blue, who already fly from Marrakech to Marseille, and were previously the only low-cost airline to fly to Oujda.

Ryanair expands outside Europe from Frankfurt
Ryanair have announced a major expansion from their Frankfurt (Hahn) base. This will include 9 new routes, starting from 25 October 2006.
The new routes will see Ryanair follow rival low-cost airline easyJet into the North African market, as they will begin flying to Morocco. The new routes from Frankfurt (Hahn) include flights to Marrakech and Fez. Additional new routes also includes the Polish cities of Wroclaw and Krakow, Verona (Villafranca) and Trieste in Italy, Granada and Murcia in Spain and also the Lithuanian city of Kaunas.
