2008 summer routes for Iceland Express
Iceland Express will operate five additional summer routes from the end of May 2008. They will fly from Reykjavik to Basel, Eindhoven, Frankfurt (Hahn), Gothenburg (Landvetter) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).

Valencia and Alicante to become Ryanair bases
Ryanair will open their 21st and 22nd bases this year at Alicante and Valencia airports, in Spain. They will add new routes from Alicante during November and December 2007, including flights to Karlsruhe-Baden, Basel, Billund, Bournemouth, Brussels (Charleroi), Doncaster, East Midlands, Gothenburg (Saeve), Maastricht, Milan (Orio al Serio) and Paris (Beauvais).
They will add new routes from Valencia in October, to make this their 22nd base. The new routes include flights to Karlsruhe-Baden, Basel, Billund, Bologna (Forli), Eindhoven, Liverpool, Malta, Maastricht, Paris (Beauvais), Oporto and Santiago de Compostela.

13 new Ryanair routes from Stockholm
Ryanair will increase capacity at their Stockholm (Skavsta) base this October. They will begin flights from Stockholm (Skavsta) to Alicante, Basel, Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bratislava, Eindhoven, Karlsruhe-Baden, Liverpool, Malta, Pisa, Oporto, Salzburg (from December 2007), Trapani and Valencia.

Transavia adds Mediterranean flights
From 28 April 2007 Transavia will begin three new routes to the Mediterranean. They will begin flying weekly from Rotterdam to Corfu, Amsterdam to Palermo and from Eindhoven to Heraklion. These new routes are on sale now at www.transavia.com.

Iceland Express launch summer flights to Reykjavik
Iceland Express will increase the number of flights they offer to their Reykjavik base from next summer. They will add six new routes to Reykjavik including flights from Bergen, Oslo (International), Paris (Orly), Basel, Eindhoven and Billund. Flights can be booked now for summer 2007.

Ryanair expansion at Madrid airport
Ryanair will make Madrid their 18th European base, and from 22 November 2006 will begin flying 14 new routes. They will begin flying to Dublin, Shannon, Eindhoven, Faro, Oporto, Marseille, Paris (Beauvais), Billund, Brussels (Charleroi), East Midlands, Oslo (Torp), Bournemouth, Gothenburg (Saeve) and Malmo.
This expansion at Madrid may come as a surprise, given that only 2 weeks ago easyJet announced that they would expand their operation from Madrid from February 2007.

Wizz Air expansion at Katowice
Wizz Air have announced that they will launch six new routes from their Polish base at Katowice. The start dates of these new routes will be staggered from the end of May 2007. These include flights to Coventry, Bournemouth, Eindhoven, Athens, Heraklion and Bourgas.

New routes from Glasgow and Frankfurt for Ryanair
Ryanair will launch 6 new routes at the end of October 2006. They will begin flying from Glasgow (Prestwick) to Riga and Eindhoven, and from their Frankfurt (Hahn) base to Valencia, Nantes, Balaton and Biarritz.

Eindhoven and other winter flights with Transavia
Dutch low-cost airline Transavia will launch flights from Eindhoven from 30 October 2006. They will begin flying to Alicante, Malaga and Faro. They have also added 3 routes for the winter season including Rotterdam to Innsbruck and Geneva, and Amsterdam to Salzburg.

Transavia will fly from Eindhoven
From November 2006, Transavia will begin flying from Eindhoven, becoming the 3rd Dutch airport they will operate from (their main bases being Amsterdam and Rotterdam).
Flight times are not yet confirmed, however Transavia announced that they will fly from Eindhoven to Malaga, Alicante and Faro.

Ryanair makes Pisa new base
Ryanair have announced that they will launch 3 new routes from Pisa during the winter season, bringing the number of routes they fly from the airport to 10. It will become their 14th base in Europe.
The new routes from Pisa include Dublin (daily from 10 October 2005), Eindhoven and Alghero (both daily from 12 January 2006).

Ryanair to expand Milan hub next year
Ryanair have announced that they will expand their hub at Milan (Orio al Serio) next year. They will add 7 new routes, bringing the total number of routes flown from the airport up to 16.
6 of the new routes will commence on 25 February 2005, these include Oslo (Torp), Newcastle, Liverpool, Seville, Zaragoza and Eindhoven. They will also begin a route to Valencia on 19 January 2005.
In addition to their expansion at Milan, it would seem they are due to begin a new route from Frankfurt (Hahn) to Klagenfurt on 01 March 2005.
