New Air Berlin summer routes from Hanover
Air Berlin have just put three new routes on sale for this summer from Hanover. From June they will operate additional flights from Hanover to Dubrovnik, Olbia and Rijeka. The new routes are available to book now at www.airberlin.com.

Germanwings to launch new base at Hanover
Germanwings will this summer open a new base at Hanover and launch 15 new routes. From May 2010 they will begin flights to Stuttgart, Bastia, Palma, Vienna, Barcelona, Heraklion, Moscow (Vnukovo), Zadar, Budapest, London (Stansted), Rome (Fiumicino), Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Milan (Malpensa) and Split.
They are expected to create around 70 new flights per week which will be operated by three aircraft.

A further 21 new easyJet routes for 2010
easyJet have continued to launch new routes for 2010 with an announcement of 21 new routes. These include the following flights:
- Bristol to Dalaman, Bodrum and Heraklion
- Liverpool to Bodrum
- London (Stansted) to Bodrum, Dalaman, Split and Dubrovnik
- Amsterdam to Prague
- Geneva to Faro, Heraklion and Brindisi
- Paris (Charles de Gaulle) to Palma, Split, Prague, Malaga and Toulouse
- Rome (Fiumicino) to Malta and Nice
- Milan (Malpensa) to Mahon
- Paris (Orly) to Venice (Marco Polo)
This brings to 70 the total number of new routes that easyJet have announced to be launched in 2010.

New Jet2 routes from Manchester
Jet2 have put four new routes on sale from their Manchester base for the next summer. These include routes to Prague, Split, Dubrovnik and Reus. All four routes can be booked now at www.jet2.com.

New Jet2 routes from Edinburgh
Jet2 have put two new routes on sale from their Edinburgh base for next summer. From 17 May 2010 they will begin flying three times per week to Faro, and from the end of April they will fly weekly to Dubrovnik. Tickets are on sale now for both new routes at www.jet2.com.

bmibaby expand at East Midlands
bmibaby last week announced a massive expansion at East Midlands which will take place over the coming months. bmibaby are due to launch new routes to Alghero, Barcelona, Bastia, Dubrovnik, Cork, Malta, Newquay, Prague and Venice (Marco Polo). FlyGlobespan will begin a new route from their Aberdeen base to Dubrovnik next summer. From 05 May 2010 they will operate weekly flights on this route.

13 new easyJet routes on sale
easyJet have put 13 new routes on sale across their European network. These include: London (Gatwick) to Munich, Vienna, Zurich and Bodrum, Manchester to Dalaman, Lyon to Pisa, Paris (Orly) to Dubrovnik and Faro, Milan (Malpensa) to Heraklion, Rhodos, Dubrovnik and Split and Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Cagliari.

14 new easyJet routes for summer 2009
easyJet put 14 new routes on sale yesterday across their European network. The new flights will launch between May and July 2009, and include routes from Bristol to Bastia and Corfu, Liverpool to Bordeaux, Dubrovnik and Naples, Manchester to Bastia, Athens and Corfu, Newcastle to Malta, Paris (Charles de Gaulle) to Ajaccio, Bilbao to Ibiza, Basel to Bordeaux, Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Dubrovnik, and Geneva to Dubrovnik.

Four new easyJet routes from Gatwick
easyJet have put their summer timetable from London (Gatwick) on sale for 2009, and this includes four new routes. They will begin flying to Larnaca at the end of March 2009, and from May 2009 they will also add flights to Santorini, Naples and Dubrovnik.

New summer 2008 routes for Jet2
Jet2 have put four new routes on sale for the 2009 summer season. This includes flights from their Leeds Bradford base to Dubrovnik (from 27 April 2009) and Larnaca (from 17 May). They will also launch flights from Newcastle to Ibiza on 17 May, and from Manchester to Olbia on 27 April. These flights can be booked now at www.jet2.com.

FlyNordic add three routes from Stockholm
flynordic will launch three new routes from Stockholm (Arlanda) next year. From the beginning of February 2008 they will begin flying to Geneva, and from 28 April they will launch flights to Split and Dubrovnik. These flights are available to book now.

Clickair adds Dubrovnik flights from Barcelona
clickair add to their growing list of flights operated from Barcelona with the announcement of a new route to Dubrovnik. Flights will begin on 01 June 2007.

SkyEurope to open base at Vienna
Despite only being a short distance from their Bratislava base, Central European low-cost airline Sky Europe will open a base at Vienna from 25 March 2007. Traditionally, Vienna has been ignored by many low-cost airlines due to the high landing fees that airlines must pay to fly there.
From March 2007, Sky Europe will fly from Vienna to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Paris (Orly), Nice, Venice (Treviso), Florence, Rimini, Bucharest (Baneasa), Sofia, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larnaca, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Split.

New flybe routes on sale for Summer 2007

SkyEurope to fly between Poland and Croatia
Sky Europe will launch direct flights between their Krakow base and Split and Dubrovnik in Croatia. These flights are currently timetabled to operate for the summer season, and will begin from 17 June 2006.

Germanwings will launch 2 new routes at the end of March 2006, including a route from Cologne-Bonn to Dubrovnik and a route from Stuttgart to Moscow (Vnukovo).

Germanwings expands at Cologne
Following their previous announcement that they will add Moscow to their network, Germanwings will launch a new route there from Cologne-Bonn. They will launch the route to Moscow (Vnukovo) on 16 July 2005 and will also begin flying to Dubrovnik a week earlier.

Air Maxi – Serbia’s first budget airline?
Air Maxi is a new low-cost airline being established by the Serbian operator, Aviogenex.
It is expected that they will be based in Belgrade and will initially launch routes to Dubrovnik, Bucharest, Ljubljana, Budapest and other EU destinations.
Route and airline information will be added to our database when tickets go on sale. Flights are expected to commence for the summer 2005 season.
