Romanian expansion for Wizz Air

Wizz Air are expanding their operation in Romania and from the end of June 2010 will launch three new routes from the Romanian capital Bucharest (Baneasa). They will begin flying twice per week to Cuneo, Weeze and Zaragoza. At the same time they will also launch new routes from Cluj-Napoca to Weeze and Zaragoza.

Cluj to Paris with Wizz Air

Wizz Air are to launch flights from the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca to Paris (Beauvais). They will fly three times per week on this route from 18 December 2008.

Cluj-Napoca is 8th base for Wizz Air

Wizz Air will make Cluj-Napoca (Romania) their 8th European base next year. They have put two further routes from sale from Cluj-Napoca to Valencia and Milan (Orio al Serio) on 15 May 2008, bringing their total number of flights from Cluj-Napoca to 8.

Wizz Air expansion at Bucharest

From 28 February 2008, Wizz Air will begin three new routes from Bucharest (Baneasa). They will begin flying three times per week to Milan (Orio al Serio) and Brussels (Charleroi), and four times per week to Cluj-Napoca.

Bucharest (Baneasa) to Cluj-Napoca will become the first domestic low-cost airline route in Romania. Flights for all of these new destinations are available to buy from today.

Wizz Air to fly to Cluj-Napoca

Wizz Air have announced that they will cease operating flights to Tirgu Mures in Transylvania, and will move these flights to Cluj-Napoca. On 13 November 2007, they will move flights to Barcelona, London (Luton), Budapest and Rome (Fiumicino). On 28 February 2008 they will launch a new route from Dortmund to Cluj-Napoca, replacing the previously announced new route to Tirgu Mures.

AlpiEagles begin flights to Cluj

Italian low-cost airline AlpiEagles will begin flights from their Venice (Marco Polo) base to the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. They will fly twice per week from 01 August 2007.

Cluj to Barcelona with Blue Air

Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air will begin flights from the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca to Barcelona. They will begin flying from 27 March 2007.
