2010/11 winter destinations on sale at Jet2.com

Jet2 have put two winter destinations on sale already, starting from 20 December 2010. They have put flights on sale from their East Midlands base to Geneva and Chambery for the duration of the winter season. They are taking bookings at www.jet2.com.

Air Southwest to move winter ski flights to Grenoble

Air Southwest have announced that they will move their winter ski flights from Chambery to Grenoble. The new flights will operate from Newquay and Plymouth to Grenoble from 20 December 2008. The flights can be booked now at www.airsouthwest.com.

Winter 08/09 flights to Chambery

For those that like to plan well in advance, Air Southwest have put on sale flights to Chambery for the Winter 2008/09 season. They will fly weekly to Chambery from both Plymouth and Newquay from 20 December 2008.

Jet2 winter flights on sale

Jet2 have put some winter routes on sale, including new flights to Chambery from Edinburgh and Belfast (International). They will also fly to Chambery from Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Manchester, to Geneva from Leeds Bradford and Manchester and to Salzburg from Leeds Bradford. Flights will begin from 10 December 2007.

New Sterling flights for winter

This winter, Sterling will begin a number of new routes from their Scandinavian bases. From the end of October 2007, they will begin flying to Dortmund from Stockholm (Arlanda), Copenhagen and Oslo (International). From mid-December they will begin flying to Salzburg from Stockholm (Arlanda) and Oslo (International), and to Chambery from Stockholm (Arlanda), Copenhagen, Oslo (International), Billund and Gothenburg (Landvetter). Jet2 to fly to Chambery for winter

Jet2 will boost winter links to Chambery from the north of England this winter when they launch flights from their Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle bases. They will begin flying up to 4 times per week from 11 December 2006.

flybe announce more winter flights

flybe have announced a further 8 new routes in their winter timetable, which will begin flying from mid-December 2006.

The new routes include Berne from Southampton and Birmingham, Chambery from Norwich and Birmingham, Salzburg from Southampton and Birmingham and also Geneva from both Southampton and Birmingham.

flybe have put a number of new routes on sale for the forthcoming winter season. These include, from 29 October 2006, flights to Aberdeen from Leeds Bradford and Exeter, to Amsterdam from Exeter and Norwich, from Birmingham to Hanover, and from Belfast (City) to Doncaster and Galway.

From 16 December, they will launch skiing routes to Geneva from Exeter and Norwich, and from Exeter to both Salzburg and Chambery.

Their schedule also shows some flights beginning 08 March 2007 from Birmingham to Aberdeen and Galway.

Stansted to Chambery connection with FlyGlobespan

Following their announcement last week that they will launch a route from Edinburgh to Chambery, Scottish low-cost airline FlyGlobespan will also launch a route from London (Stansted) to Chambery. They will fly daily from 23 December 2006.

Chambery new destination for FlyGlobespan

From 23 December 2006, FlyGlobespan – the low-cost airline based in Scotland – will begin flying from Edinburgh to Chambery in France. They will fly 5 times per week until mid-April.

flybe expands at Norwich and Exeter

flybe have announced further expansion at their Exeter and Norwich bases.

During the upcoming winter season, 6 new routes will be added from Norwich (bringing their route total to 10). They will launch flights to Alicante and Malaga from the end of September 2005. On 17 December, they will launch new routes to the ski destinations Chambery and Geneva. On 16 March 2006, they will launch new routes to Aberdeen and Dublin. It looks likely that flybe will compete with Air Wales, who already operate a route from Norwich to Dublin.

flybe will also add 3 new routes to their Exeter base, bringing their total routes to 18. On 01 November they will add a new route to Murcia, and then on 17 December to Geneva and Chambery on 24 December.

Jet2 adds routes to Chambery

In addition to the announcement of Geneva flights yesterday, Jet2 will launch a further skiing destination from their bases at Manchester and Leeds (Bradford) this winter.

From 17 December 2005 they will start flying to Chambery.
