WindJet to expand at Bologna Forli
WindJet will add 12 new routes from their Bologna (Forli) base next year. Flights, most of which begin at the end of March 2009, include routes to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin (Tegel), Krakow, Lampedusa, Naples, Prague, Riga, Timisoara, Brussels (International), Cagliari and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).

New seasonal flights from Transavia
Transavia have put five new seasonal routes on sale to Austria and Germany. These include routes to Innsbruck from Berlin (Tegel), Brussels (International) and Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel), as well as flights from Brussels (International) to Salzburg and Rotterdam to Friedrichshafen.

Brussels to Constanta link with Blue Air
Low-cost airline Blue Air will begin flying from Brussels (International) to Constanta on the Romanian Black Sea coast. They will launch weekly flights on this route from 12 August 2008.

Three new easyJet routes from Milan
easyJet have put three new routes on sale from their Milan (Malpensa) base. In June 2008 they will begin flying from Milan (Malpensa) to Brussels (International), Palma and Mykonos.

Two new Clickair routes from Barcelona
clickair will begin two new routes from their Barcelona base to Brussels (International) and Alicante. Flights will commence at the end of February 2008.

New MyAir flights from Milan and Bucharest
MyAir will launch two new routes in December 2007, including flights from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Venice (Marco Polo), and Bucharest (Baneasa) to Brussels (International). These flights begin on 03 and 15 December respectively.

Bari expansion for MyAir
Italian low-cost airline MyAir will launch four new routes from Bari this winter. From mid-December 2007 they will begin flying to Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Athens and Madrid. They are also due to launch flights from Bari to Sofia in March 2008.

Click4Sky - a new European virtual low-cost airline
Click4Sky is a new low-cost airline created by CSA Czech Airlines. Unlike most other low-cost airlines, Click4Sky does not operate any flights - instead it is being used as a marketing brand in order to sell unsold seats on existing CSA flights. In addition, the airline will sell all seats at a fixed price. Customers travelling with Click4Sky will experience exactly the same on-board service as those travelling with CSA.
They will sell tickets on flights to 36 European destinations from their Prague hub. These will include flights to: Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin (Tegel), Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi), Bratislava, Brussels (International), Budapest, Copenhagen, Cologne-Bonn, Dublin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt (International), Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel), Hanover, Istanbul (Ataturk), Kosice, Krakow, Ljubljana, London (Heathrow), London (Stansted), Madrid, Manchester, Milan (Malpensa), Munich, Oslo (International), Riga, Rome (Fiumicino), Thessaloniki, Stuttgart, Tallinn, Venice (Marco Polo), Vienna, Vilnius and Zurich.

New easyJet routes to Gdansk, Bucharest and others
easyJet have put 12 new routes on sale, including their first routes to Gdansk. They will fly to Gdansk from Bristol, Edinburgh and London (Gatwick). They will also begin flying to Bucharest (Baneasa) from London (Gatwick) and Madrid, to Innsbruck from Bristol and London (Gatwick), from Madrid to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and Palma, from Nice to Brussels (International), and from Milan (Malpensa) to Barcelona and Bari.

Various new routes for Vueling
Vueling have put five new routes on sale including Granada to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and Rome (Fiumicino) (from the end of October 2007), Seville to Bilbao and Venice (Marco Polo) and from Alicante to Brussels (International). These are all available now at www.vueling.com.

New flights for winter with Vueling
Vueling have put six new routes on sale for the winter season. The flights, which commence on 28 October 2007, include Malaga to Brussels (International) and Rome (Fiumicino), Madrid to Brussels (International), Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) and Nice, and Barcelona to Nice. Two new easyJet routes from Berlin
easyJet have begun putting their Winter 07/08 timetable on sale. This includes two new routes from their Berlin (Schoenefeld) base to Brussels (International) and Lyon. These flights will commence on 29 October 2007.

New Vueling flights to Seville

Stering to fly to Brussels
Scandinavian low-cost airline Sterling will begin flying to Brussels (International) from their various bases in Scandinavia. From the end of October 2007, they will begin flying to Brussels (International) from Stockholm (Arlanda), Oslo (International) and Copenhagen.
They will also launch new flights from Gothenburg (Landvetter) to Las Palmas and from Copenhagen to Funchal. All of these flights can be booked now at www.sterlingticket.com.

Virgin Express and SN Brussels merger
The merger announced last year between Virgin Express and SN Brussels will go ahead under the new name, Brussels Airlines. From today, previous routes operated by Virgin Express (primarily from Brussels (International)) will be operated by the new Brussels Airlines. As this airline no longer follows a specific low-cost model, their routes will cease to be included in the flycheapo database.

flybe put former BA Connect routes on sale
flybe have now put the routes on sale that they will take over from BA Connect. They will begin operating all of these flights from 25 March 2007. These include flights from Birmingham to Milan (Malpensa), Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Frankfurt (International), from Manchester to Edinburgh, Isle of Man, Paris (Charles de Gaulle), Milan (Malpensa), Dusseldorf, Frankfurt (International), Stuttgart, Brussels (International) and Hanover, and also from London (Gatwick) to Inverness and Isle of Man.

easyJet to begin flights to Brussels from Geneva
easyJet will begin flying to Brussels (International) from their Geneva base, and flights will begin on 29 June 2007. This may come as a surprise to many, because Brussels (International) is frequently avoided by low-cost airlines due to the expense of landing there.

SkyEurope to open base at Vienna
Despite only being a short distance from their Bratislava base, Central European low-cost airline Sky Europe will open a base at Vienna from 25 March 2007. Traditionally, Vienna has been ignored by many low-cost airlines due to the high landing fees that airlines must pay to fly there.
From March 2007, Sky Europe will fly from Vienna to Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Paris (Orly), Nice, Venice (Treviso), Florence, Rimini, Bucharest (Baneasa), Sofia, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larnaca, Zadar, Dubrovnik and Split.

Condor added to flycheapo database
Following the announcement that Condor would launch regular and low-cost style flights from Munich, we have added these flights to the route database.
Condor currently fly from Munich to Barcelona, and in April and May will launch flights to Brussels (International), Prague, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Pisa, Turin, Venice (Marco Polo), and Istanbul (Sabiha). These are priced as single tickets.

Atlas Blue added to flycheapo
Following our expansion to include Morocco in flycheapo, we have added Atlas Blue - a low-cost airline operating in Morocco.
They fly a number of interesting routes between Marrakech and Milan (Malpensa), Brussels (International), Bordeaux, Lyon, Geneva, London (Gatwick), Amsterdam, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse. From the end of March they will begin flying between Brussels (International) and the Moroccan airports of Tangier, Oujda, Nador. They also currently fly between Agadir and Milan (Malpensa).
Atlas Blue will operate a summer service between Brussels (International) and Al Hoceima, beginning in late June.

Virgin Express to fly to Palermo
From 01 April 2006, Virgin Express will launch a new route from Brussels (International) to Palermo. They will initially fly twice per week on this new route.

SkyEurope expands Krakow base
SkyEurope will expand their Krakow base, where they currently operate 7 routes.
They will add a further 8 routes in 2006 (and reopen one to Barcelona) from March to June, including Edinburgh, Birmingham, Brussels, Bologna, Stockholm (Arlanda), Naples, Turin and Athens.

Madrid new base for Vueling
Vueling are to launch 3 new routes from Madrid in the next few months. They will launch daily flights to Rome (Fiumicino) on 15 November 2005 and to Brussels and Paris (Charles de Gaulle) on 21 December.
These flights have not yet been formally announced, however they are already available for booking at www.vueling.com.

Virgin Express to return to Berlin
From 05 September 2005, Virgin Express will begin flying their Brussels base to Berlin (Schoenefeld). They will initially fly once-daily, but the frequency of flights will increase to twice-daily from October.
Virgin Express previously flew to Schoenefeld, until 2000 when they withdrew the route.

Virgin Express adds routes to Toulon and Milan
From the beginning of June 2005, Virgin Express will begin flying between their base at Brussels and Milan (Orio al Serio) and Toulon. The route to Orio al Serio will replace their current route to Milan (Linate).

On 05 May 2005 Virgin Express will commence flying a new route from Brussels to Catania. They will also begin a new route from Brussels to Murcia on 10 May.

Vueling Airlines - a new budget airline for Europe
Vueling Airlines is a new Spanish budget airline with bases in Barcelona and Valencia.
They are due to begin flying on 01 July 2004, with the aim of connecting Spain with the ‘major capitals’ of south-west Europe. Initially, they will begin flying (from both bases) to Paris (Charles de Gaulles), Brussels, Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca.
