Wizz Air to launch new flights from Warsaw and Bourgas
Wizz Air have put three new routes on sale including flights from their Warsaw base and new flights to Bourgas. From 08 June 2009 they will begin flying from Warsaw to Bourgas and Corfu. They will also begin flying to Bourgas from Poznan at the same time.

New Bourgas and Crete routes from Katowice
Wizz Air will launch two new routes from their Katowice base to Heraklion and Bourgas next year. They will begin flying on these routes from 08 June 2009.

Wizz Air to expand operation at Budapest
Wizz Air have put eight new routes on sale from Budapest for the summer 2008 season. The flights, which begin during June and July, will include routes to Bourgas, Varna, Corfu, Rhodos, Heraklion, Oslo (Torp), Palma and Venice (Treviso). At the same time, they will also add a new route from Gdansk to Girona.

New summer routes for Sterling
Sterling have put ten new routes on sale for the summer 2008 season. These include the following:
- Billund to Olbia and Prague
- Copenhagen to Naples, Olbia, Trieste, Varna and Venice (Marco Polo)
- Gothenburg (Landvetter) to Bourgas
- Stockholm (Arlanda) to Bourgas and Naples

New Wizz Air route to Bulgaria and Greece
Wizz Air will launch four new routes in June 2008, including flights to Bulgaria and Greece. They are scheduled to begin flying from Warsaw and Katowice to Bourgas, from Katowice to Heraklion and from Warsaw to Corfu.

SkyEurope to fly to Bourgas from Krakow
Central European low-cost airline Sky Europe will begin flying from their Krakow base to Bourgas in Bulgaria. They will begin flying twice per week from 07 July 2007.

Bourgas flights from Warsaw
centralwings will launch a summer service from their Warsaw base to Bourgas in Bulgaria. Weekly flights will begin on 16 June 2007, and can be booked now at www.centralwings.com.

Norwegian to fly to Bulgaria
Norwegian Air Shuttle will expand their network to cover Bulgaria next year. On 14 April 2007 they will begin flights from their Oslo (International) base to Varna and Bourgas. Tickets can already be booked at www.norwegian.no.

Germanwings summer 2007 schedule on sale
Germanwings have put flights on sale until the end of October 2007. This includes a number of new routes from their Stuttgart, Cologne-Bonn, Berlin (Schoenefeld) and Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel) bases. Flights begin from the end of March.
From Cologne-Bonn they will begin flying to Alghero (Sardinia), Zadar (Croatia), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Bucharest (Baneasa) (Romania), Sofia (Bulgaria), Bourgas (Bulgaria), Varna (Bulgaria) and Kavala. From Stuttgart they will begin flying to Bastia (Corsica), from Hamburg (Fuhlsbuettel) to Palma and from Berlin (Schoenefeld) to Bourgas (Bulgaria), Verona (Villafranca) (Bulgaria) and Balaton (Hungary).

Wizz Air expansion at Warsaw
Wizz Air will launch four new routes from their Warsaw base. From 28 May 2007, they will fly from Warsaw to Corfu and Bourgas. From 23 July they will begin flying to Durham Tees Valley and Oslo (Torp).

Wizz Air expansion at Katowice
Wizz Air have announced that they will launch six new routes from their Polish base at Katowice. The start dates of these new routes will be staggered from the end of May 2007. These include flights to Coventry, Bournemouth, Eindhoven, Athens, Heraklion and Bourgas.

SmartWings flies to Bulgaria
The Czech low-cost airline, SmartWings, will begin flights from their Prague base to Bulgaria this summer. From June 2006 they will fly to Bourgas and Varna. They will also add routes to Malaga and Thessaloniki for the summer.

Wizz Air begins flights to Bourgas
Wizz Air will begin direct flights to Bourgas from London (Luton) (beginning 02 May 2006) and from Budapest (beginning 18 June 2006). The Wizz Air flight will begin just 1 day after Sky Europe begin operating on the same route.

SkyEurope launch additional Bourgas route
The number of low-cost flights to Bourgas is increasing, as SkyEurope intend to launch a route there from their Bratislava base. They are due to begin flying there, twice per week, from 27 June 2006.

SkyEurope expands at Budapest
SkyEurope have put 4 new routes on sale for 2006 from Budapest. In mid-April they will launch 2 new Italian routes from Budapest, including Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) and Naples.
They will also launch 2 new routes to Bulgaria for the summer season, including Bourgas and Varna. This will make SkyEurope the first low-cost airline to fly to Varna.

Bexx Air replace Niederrhein with Liege
Due to complications regarding landing regulations at Niederrhein, Bexx Air have moved their flights to the Belgian airport of Liege. Their Bourgas to Niederrhein flight due to launch this summer will therefore be replaced by Bourgas to Liege, with Sofia to Niederrhein being replaced by Sofia to Liege.

In addition to the new bexx air route to Niederrhein from Bourgas, they will also begin flights from Bourgas to Zweibrucken (Germany), where they will offer an onward coach service to a number of cities.

New bexx air route
bexx air have announced a new route from Niederrhein to the Bulgarian city of Bourgas. Flights begin on 15 July 2004.
