Bergen to Copenhagen link with Sterling
Scandinavian low-cost airline Sterling will begin flights from their Copenhagen hub to Bergen next year. From 31 March 2008, they will fly up to four times per day on this route. Tickets are on sale now at www.sterling.dk.

Norwegian to open base at new low-cost Oslo airport
Norwegian Air Shuttle, currently based at Oslo (International), will begin flying from the new low cost airport for the city, Oslo (Rygge), next year. They will begin flights there from mid-February 2008, and destinations from Oslo (Rygge) will include: London (Stansted), Alicante, Barcelona, Valencia, Malaga, Marrakech, Warsaw, Szczecin, Palanga, Budapest, Istanbul (Sabiha), Athens, Belgrade and Bergen.

Iceland Express launch summer flights to Reykjavik
Iceland Express will increase the number of flights they offer to their Reykjavik base from next summer. They will add six new routes to Reykjavik including flights from Bergen, Oslo (International), Paris (Orly), Basel, Eindhoven and Billund. Flights can be booked now for summer 2007.

Norwegian link from Bergen to Warsaw
Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin flying between Bergen and Warsaw from 11 November 2006. They will fly twice per week on this route. Flights can be booked now at www.norwegian.no.

Norwegian expands to include St Petersburg and others
Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin flying from their Oslo (International) base to St. Petersburg from the beginning of May 2006. This follows the announcement last week that Germanwings would begin flying to St. Petersburg.
Norwegian Air Shuttle will also move their Oslo (International) to Paris route from Paris (Beauvais) to Paris (Orly) from April.
In June they will add 2 summer services to Alicante from Bergen and Stavanger.

Norwegian to launch new Bergen routes
Norwegian Air Shuttle will launch 2 new routes from Bergen at the beginning of April 2006. They will begin flying twice per week to Manchester and 3 times per week to Berlin (Schoenefeld).

Major expansion at Iceland Express
The CEO of Iceland Express has announced that they will begin flying 6 new routes in Spring 2006. They will begin flying to Bergen, Stockholm (Arlanda), Gothenburg (Landvetter), Hamburg (Luebeck), Friedrichshafen and Berlin (Schoenefeld).
Flights will go on sale in October for these new routes.
