Germanwings to ‘rescue’ V-Bird passengers
Germanwings are flying V-Bird passengers with confirmed bookings at reduced rates, from their base at Cologne-Bonn.
Customers have until the end of this weekend to make reduced-price reservations with Germanwings.
V-Bird stops flying
The Dutch low-cost airline, V-Bird was declared bankrupt yesterday and as of yesterday evening, all flights are grounded. It is believed that their leased aircraft have already been returned.
There is currently little information about their future, and no announcements regarding passengers left stranded as a consequence of the bankruptcy.

V-Bird announce new route to Stockholm
From 09 July 2004, V-Bird are flying a new route from Niederrhein to Stockholm (Arlanda). Seats are available now, available until the end of March 2005, along with part of their winter schedule.

V-Bird announces new route to Prague
On 08 July 2004, V-Bird will begin flying from their base at Niederrhein to Prague.

V-Bird new routes from Niederrhein
In May, V-Bird will begin flying from Niederrhein to Alicante and Rhodos. Flights will only be once per week to each destination though.
