Wizz Air to replace some MyAir routes

Wizz Air will replace some routes operated by suspended airline MyAir. They have put three new routes on sale from their Bucharest (Baneasa) base to destinations in Italy including Naples, Bologna (Forli) and Catania. The new routes begin in September / October 2009.

Low-cost airline MyAir suspends operations

Italian low-cost airline MyAir suspended operations this week after the Italian aviation authority (ENAC) revoked their operating certificate. ENAC were forced to do so on 24 July due to the financial instability of the airline.

All flights are currently grounded and new bookings are not being accepted.

New MyAir Italian domestic routes

Italian low-cost airline MyAir have put two new domestic routes on sale for summer. From 15 June 2009 they will begin flying to Foggia from Milan (Orio al Serio) and to Brindisi from Turin.

Sofia to Venice link reinstated by MyAir

MyAir will reinstate flights between Venice (Marco Polo) and Sofia during the summer 2009 season. They will begin flying four times per week on this route from 01 June.

New MyAir routes from Brindisi

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will launch three new routes from their Brindisi base on 01 June 2009. They will fly weekly to Munich, three times per week to Vienna and four times per week to Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi).

MyAir to launch two new Foggia routes

Italian low-cost airline MyAir are due to begin flying two new routes to Foggia this summer. From the end of March 2009 they will begin flying to Foggia from Geneva (weekly) and Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) (6 times per week).

Amsterdam to Rimini with MyAir

MyAir have put a new route on sale from Rimini to Amsterdam. They are due to begin flying weekly on this route from 30 May 2009.

MyAir will begin operating two new routes from Rimini on 08 May 2009. They are due to begin weekly flights to both Bucharest (Baneasa) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).

New routes from Bari with MyAir

MyAir have put two new routes on sale from Bari for the forthcoming summer season. From 30 March 2009 they will fly from Bari to Istanbul (Sabiha) and Milan (Orio al Serio).

New Olbia flights with MyAir

MyAir will operate two summer routes from Olbia this summer. From June 2009 they will fly to Olbia from Venice (Marco Polo) and Milan (Orio al Serio).

MyAir to fly to Foggia

Italian low-cost airline MyAir have announced that they will begin flying from Foggia, a city in the Puglia region of Italy. In doing so, they become the first low-cost airline to fly to Foggia. From October 2008 they will begin flying from Foggia to Milan (Malpensa), Palermo, Turin and Rome (Fiumicino).

Italian routes to Ibiza with My Air

MyAir will operate summer flights to the Spanish island of Ibiza. They will operate flights from their Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) and Milan (Orio al Serio) bases for the summer season, starting on 20 July 2008. Tickets are available now at www.myair.com.

MyAir to fly to Timisoara

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will begin flying to the Romanian city of Timisoara. They will begin flying to Timisoara from their Venice (Marco Polo) and Milan (Orio al Serio) bases from 22 September 2008. Flights on these routes are available to book now at www.myair.com.

MyAir to operate Rome to Turin flights

Italian budget airline MyAir is due to begin flying from their Rome (Fiumicino) base to Turin. They will begin operating flights on this route from 30 March 2008. They will also begin flying from Geneva to Brindisi from 04 June.

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will launch four new routes from Bari this winter. From mid-December 2007 they will begin flying to Amsterdam, Brussels (International), Athens and Madrid. They are also due to launch flights from Bari to Sofia in March 2008.

MyAir to begin flights between Bucharest and Barcelona

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will begin flights from Bucharest (Baneasa) to Barcelona. Flights will begin on 01 June 2007. This will be a new departure for them because currently, all of their routes from Bucharest (Baneasa) are to destinations in Italy.

Additional flights to Bucharest from Milan

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will shortly increase their capacity from Milan to the Romanian capital, Bucharest. They already fly from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Bucharest (Baneasa), but from 01 February they will also begin flying to Bucharest (Baneasa) from Milan (Malpensa).

Italian flights to Morocco with MyAir

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will begin flying from their Venice (Marco Polo) base to Marrakech and Casablanca in Morocco from 25 March 2007. They will also launch flights from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Madrid on the same day. On 28 February 2007 they will also begin flying from Venice (Marco Polo) to Bordeaux and Sofia.

MyAir to expand their network

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will add 10 new routes from their various bases from early next year. From 15 February 2007, they will begin flying from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Bordeaux, Marseille and Tirana, from Venice (Marco Polo) to Marseille and Lille and from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Bordeaux. From 15 March, they will begin flying from Bari to Bucharest (Baneasa), Genoa, Milan (Malpensa) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle).

From the end of November Italian low-cost airline MyAir will begin flying from Bari to the Albanian capital, Tirana. They will fly three times per week on this route.

Italian low-cost airline MyAir will begin flying from Catania to Bucharest (Baneasa) (Romania) and from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Sofia (Bulgaria). These new routes will commence on on 19 December 2006 and 17 February 2007 respectively.

MyAir to operate last-minute summer routes

MyAir are late to announce some new routes that they will fly this summer. The routes, some of which begin as early as next week, include: Milan (Orio al Serio) to Heraklion, Rhodos and Santorini, from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) to Ibiza, from Venice (Marco Polo) to Heraklion and Rhodos and finally Milan (Malpensa) to Heraklion.

MyAir to fly to Istanbul from Milan

Italian low-cost airline, MyAir, will begin flying between Milan (Orio al Serio) and Istanbul (Sabiha) from 07 July 2006. They will initially fly twice per week on this new route.

MyAir will launch 5 new routes on 13 April 2006. They will begin flying to Sofia in Bulgaria from Bologna (Guglielmo Marconi) and Milan (Orio al Serio), and to the Romanian airports of Timisoara, from Venice (Marco Polo) and Milan (Orio al Serio), and to Bucharest (Baneasa) from Rome (Ciampino).

MyAir will launch summer routes to Spain from 21 July 2006. They will fly from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Palma and Ibiza, and also from Venice (Marco Polo) to Ibiza. These flights will be operated until early September.

MyAir will launch a new route on 14 February 2005 between Milan (Orio al Serio) and Bari. They are scheduled to fly 4 times per week on this route until 26 March. It is unclear whether they intend to continue with the route after that date.

The new Italian low-cost start up airline, MyAir, have announced details of 2 new routes to Bucharest from their bases at Venice (Marco Polo) and Milan (Orio al Serio) on their launch date, 17 December 2004.

MyAir – a new budget airline for Italy

On 17 December 2004, MyAir is due to commence flying. They are a new low-cost airline based in Italy who are offering both domestic and international routes.

Initially they will offer routes from Milan (Orio al Serio) to Brindisi, Catania, Naples and Madrid, from Venice to Madrid and Barcelona and from Catania to Madrid.

They are taking bookings now, with lead-in fares of €0.01.
