Birmingham to Larnaca with Monarch Scheduled

New for Summer 2009 will be a route from Birmingham to Larnaca with Monarch Scheduled. They are scheduled to fly twice per week on this route from 29 March 2009.

Monarch to resume Manchester – Gibraltar flights

Monarch Scheduled will resume a link between Manchester and Gibraltar this summer, which they withdrew in mid-2006. From 12 September 2008 they will fly three times per week on this route.

New Gatwick to Larnaca and Menorca routes

Monarch Scheduled will launch new flights from their London (Gatwick) base to Larnaca and Mahon this summer. They will begin flying on these routes from 19 March 2008.

Manchester to Cyprus link with Monarch

Monarch Scheduled will launch a new route from Manchester to Larnaca (Cyprus) next summer. They will fly up to five times per week on this route during the summer season, and flights will begin on 18 May 2008.

Manchester to Murcia with Monarch

Monarch Scheduled will begin flying five times per week between Murcia and Manchester. Although this route will not begin until 08 February 2007, flights are on sale now.

Monarch launches online check-in at Luton

Monarch Scheduled have launched online check-in at their London (Luton) base. This means that is now possible for customers to check-in online from all of their UK bases (Manchester, Birmingham and London (Gatwick) included).

Luton to Cyprus with Monarch Scheduled

Monarch Scheduled will begin flights from their London (Luton) base to Larnaca (Cyprus) from 27 March 2007. They will fly four times per week on this new route.

Monarch Scheduled to operate Gatwick to Murcia flights

Monarch Scheduled will launch scheduled flights between London (Gatwick) and Murcia next summer. From May 2007 they will commence daily flights on this route.

Extra capacity on London Gatwick to Ibiza

Monarch Scheduled will join the group of airlines operating low-cost flights from London (Gatwick) to Ibiza next summer. They will begin flying 5 times per week from 24 May 2007. easyJet and Thomsonfly already fly this route.

Another Ibiza connection from Manchester

Monarch Scheduled will begin flying between Manchester and Ibiza from 19 May 2007. They will join low-cost airlines Thomsonfly and Jet2 in flying this route.

Monarch Scheduled to fly to Almeria and Ibiza

Monarch Scheduled will launch 2 new routes to Almeria and Ibiza from their London (Luton) base next summer. They will begin flying on 03 and 24 May 2007 respectively.

Monarch Scheduled puts summer 2007 flights on sale

While many low-cost airlines are yet to reveal their winter 2006 timetable, Monarch Scheduled have put flights on sale for summer 2007 already.

These include new routes from Manchester to Jerez and from Birmingham to Ibiza.

Monarch Scheduled adds flights to Lanzarote

Monarch Scheduled will launch 2 new routes to Arrecife in Lanzarote at the beginning of May 2006. They will fly from London (Gatwick) and Manchester.

Monarch Scheduled to fly from Manchester to Lanzarote

Monarch Scheduled will launch a route between Manchester and Arrecife on 29 October 2006. They will fly twice per week during the winter 2006/07 season.

Monarch Scheduled adds Tenerife connection

Monarch Scheduled will fly from London (Gatwick) to Tenerife during the winter 2006/07 season. They will begin flying on 29 October 2006.

Birmingham expansion for Monarch Scheduled

Monarch Scheduled will launch new routes from Birmingham (International) including Murcia (from 10 February 2006), Menorca (from 03 May) and Palma (Mallorca) (from 07 May).

Jet2 adds Manchester route to Palma

Jet2 have put a new route on sale from Manchester to Palma (Mallorca). They will begin flying there at the end of March 2006 – the beginning of their 2006 summer season.

Jet2 will be competing with both Monarch Scheduled and bmibaby who operate on this route.

Monarch Scheduled adds 3 routes to Malaga

Monarch Scheduled have announced that from November 2005 it will be possible to fly to Malaga from Aberdeen (four times per week), Blackpool (daily) and Newquay (three times per week).

All 3 of these UK airports are new to Monarch Scheduled.

dba and Monarch Scheduled added to Europebyair network

Of interest to those outside Europe coming to visit is the Europebyair programme. This allows people to travel on all the routes operated by a number of airlines in Europe for $99 (excluding airport taxes) per flight. Bookings can be made in advance or on the fly.

Monarch Scheduled and dba have just been added to the network as new partners, joining other low-cost carriers including Alpi Eagles, flybe, Virgin Express and VLM, legacy carriers, and oddly – even Eurostar.

Europebyair passes can only be purchased outside Europe and are only available to non-Europeans.

Monarch Scheduled extends summer expansion

Further to the announcement earlier today regarding expansion at London (Gatwick), Monarch Scheduled will also launch new routes from Birmingham (International) to Alicante and Faro (from early May 2005) and from Manchester to Naples, from 28 April.

These routes do not appear to have been announced yet, however they are on sale immediately.

Monarch Scheduled adds routes from Gatwick

Monarch Scheduled have announced they will begin flying 2 new routes from London (Gatwick) on 28 April 2005. The new routes will include Lisbon and Granada. They will be the first low-cost airline to fly GatwickGranada.

Monarch Scheduled expand at Birmingham & Manchester

From 28 April 2005, Monarch Scheduled will add 2 new routes from Manchester to Almeria and Madrid, and new routes from Birmingham (International) to Tenerife (Sur) and Malaga.

Monarch Scheduled adds Canary Island routes

The low-cost arm, Monarch Scheduled, of the charter carrier Monarch, has announced further expansion into the Canary Islands.

From 1 November 2004, they will launch 2 new routes from London (Luton) to Arrecife (Lanzarote) and Las Palmas (Gran Canaria). This is in addition to their already established route to Tenerife (Sur), making Luton a new hub for UK low-cost flying to the Canary Islands.
