Monarch Scheduled will launch a new route from Manchester to Larnaca (Cyprus) next summer. They will fly up to five times per week on this route during the summer season, and flights will begin on 18 May 2008.

Monarch Scheduled have launched online check-in at their London (Luton) base. This means that is now possible for customers to check-in online from all of their UK bases (Manchester, Birmingham and London (Gatwick) included).

Monarch Scheduled will join the group of airlines operating low-cost flights from London (Gatwick) to Ibiza next summer. They will begin flying 5 times per week from 24 May 2007. easyJet and Thomsonfly already fly this route.

Of interest to those outside Europe coming to visit is the Europebyair programme. This allows people to travel on all the routes operated by a number of airlines in Europe for $99 (excluding airport taxes) per flight. Bookings can be made in advance or on the fly.
Monarch Scheduled and dba have just been added to the network as new partners, joining other low-cost carriers including Alpi Eagles, flybe, Virgin Express and VLM, legacy carriers, and oddly – even Eurostar.
Europebyair passes can only be purchased outside Europe and are only available to non-Europeans.

Further to the announcement earlier today regarding expansion at London (Gatwick), Monarch Scheduled will also launch new routes from Birmingham (International) to Alicante and Faro (from early May 2005) and from Manchester to Naples, from 28 April.
These routes do not appear to have been announced yet, however they are on sale immediately.
Monarch Scheduled have announced they will begin flying 2 new routes from London (Gatwick) on 28 April 2005. The new routes will include Lisbon and Granada. They will be the first low-cost airline to fly Gatwick – Granada.

The low-cost arm, Monarch Scheduled, of the charter carrier Monarch, has announced further expansion into the Canary Islands.
From 1 November 2004, they will launch 2 new routes from London (Luton) to Arrecife (Lanzarote) and Las Palmas (Gran Canaria). This is in addition to their already established route to Tenerife (Sur), making Luton a new hub for UK low-cost flying to the Canary Islands.
