FlyNordic absorbed by Norwegian
As announced last year, flynordic was acquired by Norwegian Air Shuttle and has now been fully absorbed. As of 05 April 2008, flynordic no longer operates any routes independently and was rebranded, and from today all airline bookings are to take place via the Norwegian Air Shuttle web site.

FlyNordic to fly Sweden to Belgrade
Scandinavian low-cost airline flynordic will begin flying from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Belgrade this summer. They will fly twice per week on this route from 16 June 2008.

FlyNordic to fly to Sarajevo, Istanbul and Dusseldorf
flynordic will launch new routes from their Stockholm (Arlanda) base to Sarajevo, Istanbul (Sabiha) and Dusseldorf in June this year. Flights, which begin from mid-June 2008, are available to book now.

Stockholm to Tallinn and Bordeaux with FlyNordic
flynordic will reinstate their route from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Tallinn next summer. From 30 March 2008, they will fly four times per week on this route. They also begin flying from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Bordeaux the following week.

FlyNordic add three routes from Stockholm
flynordic will launch three new routes from Stockholm (Arlanda) next year. From the beginning of February 2008 they will begin flying to Geneva, and from 28 April they will launch flights to Split and Dubrovnik. These flights are available to book now.

Lulea to Kiruna link with FlyNordic
flynordic will begin a Swedish domestic flights from Lulea to Kiruna. They will fly six times per week on this route from 28 October 2007.

Norwegian Air Shuttle to acquire flynordic
Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced their intention to acquire competing Scandinavian low-cost airline flynordic. They claim that flynordic, currently a subsidiary of the Finnish flag carrier Finnair, will continue to be operated as a separate brand.

Flynordic summer routes on sale
On 05 April 2007 flynordic will begin flights from their Stockholm (Arlanda) base to Toulon via Bordeaux (a stop only), also facilitating connections from Bordeaux to Toulon. They will also start flying from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Dublin (from 01 April) and Tallinn (from 04 May).

FlyNordic winter flights to Grenoble
flynordic will begin flying weekly between Grenoble and Stockholm (Arlanda) this winter. They will begin flying this new route on 02 December 2006.

flynordic route between Kiruna and Lulea
Swedish low-cost airline flynordic will launch a route from Kiruna to Lulea from 26 March 2006. It isn’t clear whether this will be a seasonal service or not.

Flynordic to connect Stockholm and Turin
Flynordic will start flying a new weekly route from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Turin on 24 December 2005.

Sterling and flynordic to cooperate
Sterling and flynordic have announced a strategic alliance, they will begin route-sharing on a number of routes and have started cooperating on flight sales.
This will see flynordic operate flights from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Berlin (Tegel), Barcelona, Bordeaux, Budapest and Dublin, and they will also operate the route from Copenhagen to Tallinn.
Sterling will be operating flights from Arlanda to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Nice and Prague. They will also cooperate on their route from Gothenburg to Copenhagen.

flynordic expands this summer
flynordic, the low-cost airline previously known as Nordic Airlink, will launch a number of new routes in March. These will include Stockholm (Arlanda) to Barcelona, Munich, Dublin, Berlin (Tegel) and Tallinn. They will also add a new route from Copenhagen to Tallinn.

flynordic adds Kiruna
flynordic, the recently renamed nordic airlink, will launch a new route from Stockholm (Arlanda) to Kiruna in the arctic region of Northern Sweden. They will be the first low-cost airline to fly to Kiruna.
The route will commence on 02 February 2005.

nordic airlink rebrands
The low-cost airline nordic airlink has rebranded, it would seem as of 10 October 2004 the airline, owned by Finnair, is now called flynordic.
