Wizz Air to open flights to Bristol

Wizz Air will launch a new route from their Warsaw base to Bristol later this summer. On 19 September they will begin flying twice per week on this route.

Air Berlin reopen flights to Manchester

Air Berlin will once again fly to Manchester as they launch flights from Manchester to Munich on 31 March. They will fly three times per week for the remainder of 2010. Book now at www.airberlin.com.

Wizz Air – Gdansk to Tampere in Finland

Wizz Air are to launch twice weekly flights from their Gdansk base to Tampere this summer. Flights begin from 07 June 2010.

Vueling to launch Edinburgh and Istanbul flights

Spanish low-cost airline Vueling will begin flights from their Barcelona base to Edinburgh and Istanbul (Sabiha) this summer (from 24 June 2010). At the same time they will also launch flights between Munich and Valencia. Tickets are available at www.vueling.com.

Ryanair to begin flights to Lleida next week

Ryanair are to begin operating flights to the newly opened airport at Lleida next week (from 02 April). This new airport was opened in the west of Catalonia in January 2010. Initially, they will fly from Frankfurt (Hahn) and Milan (Orio al Serio) to Lleida.

Low-cost flights begin to Heringsdorf – the German seaside

Air Berlin will begin flying to to the German seaside resort of Heringsdorf this summer from four airports across Germany. From 01 May 2010 they will fly from Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Nuremberg and Stuttgart to Heringsdorf. Flights are on sale now at www.airberlin.com.

New Ryanair routes from Zadar

Ryanair have put two new routes to Zadar on sale for this summer, including new routes from Zadar to Bari and Bremen from 01 June.

2010/11 winter destinations on sale at Jet2.com

Jet2 have put two winter destinations on sale already, starting from 20 December 2010. They have put flights on sale from their East Midlands base to Geneva and Chambery for the duration of the winter season. They are taking bookings at www.jet2.com.

Ryanair to fly to Ciudad Real

Ryanair have announced that they will begin flying from London (Stansted) to Ciudad Real in Spain. They will begin flying on this route from 25 May 2010. This will be their first route to Ciudad Real and are only the second low-cost airline to fly there – Air Berlin also have a summer route operating there, but only as a connection at Palma.

Vueling to fly to St Petersburg

Vueling, the Spanish low-cost airline, will begin flying to St. Petersburg this summer. From 26 June 2010 they will fly twice per week from their Barcelona base to St. Petersburg. Book now at www.vueling.com.
