Air Berlin will begin three new routes from their Dusseldorf base from the beginning of November 2007. They will begin flying to Almeria, Faro and Lisbon. They will also launch flights from Palma to Lisbon and from Munich to Faro. These are all available to book now at www.airberlin.com.
Sky Europe will begin four new routes from their Vienna base for the forthcoming winter season. From the end of October 2007, they will begin flying from Vienna to Warsaw, Krakow, Naples and Innsbruck.
easyJet have begun putting their Winter 07/08 timetable on sale. This includes two new routes from their Berlin (Schoenefeld) base to Brussels (International) and Lyon. These flights will commence on 29 October 2007.
Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin flights from their Oslo (International) base to Moscow (Domodedovo) this summer. They will fly three times per week on this route from 16 August 2007. Flights are available to book now at www.norwegian.no.

This winter, Thomsonfly will begin flights from the UK to Tel Aviv. They will become the first low-cost airline to do so, and will begin flights from their Manchester and London (Luton) bases. Flights can be booked now at www.thomsonfly.com.
Vueling will add three new international routes to Seville this winter. From the beginning of December, they will begin flying from Amsterdam, Brussels (International) and Milan (Malpensa) to Seville. Flights can be booked now at www.vueling.com.

Wizz Air will begin flying four new routes from Poznan from 31 January 2008. This will make Poznan a base, bringing the number of routes they operate there to 7. The new routes will include flights to Doncaster, Glasgow (Prestwick), Malmo and Oslo (Torp).

The Spanish low-cost airline clickair claims that they will be the first airline in the world to scrap check-in. It has been reported that from 25 June 2007, it will launch a new system called “Click and Fly” which will eliminate the need for the check-in process at the airport. No details of the system are available at the present time.
easyJet have announced flights to two new cities, to be launched later in the year. They will begin flying from their London (Luton) base to the Austrian capital, Vienna, from 29 October 2007. From this September, they will also launch flights from their Milan (Malpensa) base to the Romanian capital, Bucharest (Baneasa). These flights can be booked now.
Norwegian Air Shuttle will begin flights from their Oslo (International) base to the Moroccan city of Marrakech. They will begin flying weekly on this route from 29 October 2007. Flights can be booked now at www.norwegian.no.
Ryanair will increase capacity at their Stockholm (Skavsta) base this October. They will begin flights from Stockholm (Skavsta) to Alicante, Basel, Berlin (Schoenefeld), Bratislava, Eindhoven, Karlsruhe-Baden, Liverpool, Malta, Pisa, Oporto, Salzburg (from December 2007), Trapani and Valencia.
Jet2 have put some winter routes on sale, including new flights to Chambery from Edinburgh and Belfast (International). They will also fly to Chambery from Newcastle, Leeds Bradford and Manchester, to Geneva from Leeds Bradford and Manchester and to Salzburg from Leeds Bradford. Flights will begin from 10 December 2007.
