Air Berlin delays flotation
Shares in Air Berlin, the German low-cost airline, were due to begin trading today, but Air Berlin have decided to extend the period for initial public offering. This news comes amid fears from investors about the long-term viability of an airline in such a cut-throat industry.
Shares will now be available to purchase until 10 May, and they will begin trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange from 11 May.
