Ryanair to Malta?

Ryanair are still in negotiations with Malta International Airport over landing fees. It has been speculated for some time that Ryanair are keen to launch flights to Malta, but have been unable to due to high landing fees. They have recently been offered favourable fees if they agree to operate a route from Girona.

Michael Cawley of Ryanair claims these fees are still too high, however negotiations continue.
