Ryanair replaces lost Volareweb routes

In the wake of the suspension of all Volareweb flights last week, Ryanair haven’t wasted any time responding by increasing their Italian presence in order to ‘fill the gap’ they left.

Today, Ryanair have announced that they will launch 1 new route between Venice (Treviso) and Paris (Beauvais) (a launch date is not yet clear), which will become the 65th international route into or out of Italy operated by Ryanair. In addition, they have increased frequency on many other routes previously operated by Volareweb.

In addition, they are in talks with all of the airports previously used by Volareweb.

easyJet have also made it clear that they would like to take over some of Volareweb‘s landing slots at Paris (Orly).
