New Air Berlin routes to Preveza

Air Berlin will begin flying from their Stuttgart base to Preveza next summer. They will begin flying on this route from 02 May 2009. They will also begin summer flights from Dusseldorf to Preveza at the same time. Flights for 2009 can be booked at www.airberlin.com.

New summer 2008 routes for Jet2

Jet2 have put four new routes on sale for the 2009 summer season. This includes flights from their Leeds Bradford base to Dubrovnik (from 27 April 2009) and Larnaca (from 17 May). They will also launch flights from Newcastle to Ibiza on 17 May, and from Manchester to Olbia on 27 April. These flights can be booked now at www.jet2.com.

Milan and Poznan linked by Wizz Air

Central European low-cost airline Wizz Air will begin flying between Poznan and Milan (Orio al Serio) next year. From 12 January 2009 they are scheduled to operate weekly flights on this route.

Leeds Bradford to Rhodes with Jet2

Jet2 have put a new route on sale from their Leeds Bradford base to Rhodos for next summer. They are due to begin flying weekly on this route from 25 May 2009. Tickets can be booked now at www.jet2.com.

Transavia to fly from Copenhagen

Transavia will begin flying a route outside their regular Dutch hub airports this winter when they launch a new route between Copenhagen and Innsbruck. From 18 December 2008 they will fly five times per week on this route for the winter season. Flights are available to book at www.transavia.com.

Wizz Air to open new Romanian base at Timisoara

Wizz Air have announced that they will open their 10th base at Timisoara in Romania. They have put eight routes on sale to this new airport, including flights from London (Luton), Dortmund and Rome (Fiumicino) (all beginning 17 December 2008) and from Barcelona, Milan (Orio al Serio), Paris (Beauvais), Rome (Fiumicino), Valencia and Venice (Treviso) (from 11 March 2009). Edinburgh to Sardinia with Jet2

Jet2 have put on sale a new route from their Edinburgh base to Olbia (Sardinia) for next summer. They are due to begin weekly flights on this route from 11 May 2009.

New for Summer 2009 will be a route from Birmingham to Larnaca with Monarch Scheduled. They are scheduled to fly twice per week on this route from 29 March 2009.

New BelleAir route from Zagreb to Tirana

Belle Air will begin flying a new route between their Tirana base and the Croatian capital, Zagreb, this winter. They are due to fly three times per week on this route from the end of October 2008.

FlyGlobespan to operate Aberdeen - Ibiza flights

FlyGlobespan will begin flying from their Aberdeen base to Ibiza next summer. They are due to operate weekly flights from 27 June 2008.
