Virgin Express no longer offer low-cost flights. On 25 March 2007, they merged with SN Brussels airlines to form Brussels Airlines.

Virgin Express was a low-cost airline based at Brussels airport. They began in 1996 when the Virgin Group acquired a 90% stake in an airline known as EBA Express.

Contrary to the practice of many other budget airlines, Virgin Express offered the possibility to book seats online, seats with additional legroom and the opportunity to connect between flights.
