Facts about bmibaby
bmibaby is the low-cost arm of bmi and is one of the largest British low-cost carriers. Their main base is at Nottingham East Midlands.
They began operations in March 2002 with a free flight offer - they were the first low-cost airline to offer completely free flights (even the taxes were paid). In June 2005, they began bmibaby seats on 'regular' European bmi flights.
Unlike some of the other larger low-cost airlines, bmibaby allow passengers to pre-book their, or select their seats at check-in.
